This has been the biggest let-down for a sporting event in a quite some time. Bud Forster’s defense proves to be vastly overrated in big games time after time.
Sooners vs. Tigers is a really close call. Two great road wins for Sooners, depth of schedule for Clemson. Clemson has a lot of pretty good wins and no great wins (assuming Auburn loses 2 more, NC State already has 3 losses, etc). The Big XII title game could end up killing Oklahoma.
Your team might be bad, but they're not 1-8 and giving up around 37 points a game bad.
The lady asked me today if Clemson was my favorite college team. It only seems that way, cause I've been watching way more of them than anything else in recent years. The only time I cared about an OSU game, or seen on TV, was the second half of the Stanford game that they blown anyway.

55-24 sure as hell is. OMG, I can't believe the Buckeyes fell apart so suddenly and completely. Wow, that was pure, unadulterated awful. I figured they might struggle with the stinky WOlverines, or maybe lose to Wisconsin, but after beating Penn State this was a major let down. After playing himself squarely into the Heisman race, Barrett took himself right out with one game.

OSU's flop basically just ended my whole football season with a whimper and a thud. And my NFL team is worse than 1-8 -- they're 0-8, were likely out of playoff contention by early October, and have a great chance of finally achieving a perfect 0-16, which would be 1-31 over two seasons.
Now what the hell am I supposed to do until April, when baseball comes back and NBA games begin to matter? Rough sports time round here. I'm gonna go watch boxing, or something.

1.Bama 2.Georgia 3.Clemson 4.Oklahoma
I think that's how it ends up.
So you think Miami beats Notre Dame and loses to Clemson in ACCCG?
I think if Miami can beat notre Dame, they can beat Clemson, though I think ND wins out and claims the #2 seed, with Bama/UGA being #1 and #3 depending who wins seccg.
Though, I've been really bad at the pick'em this year.

Yea I think Clemson can beat Miami. They're not on great on offense and we are great on defense.
Mays recently spoke to TigerNet on his visit to Clemson during the rain-soaked victory against Georgia Tech.
“It was great. I had a great time,” Mays told TigerNet shortly after he left campus Sunday. “I got to spend a lot of time with the coaches and commits.”
Mays was impressed by the fan support that sat through the rain to watch their team play.
"Clemson is a different culture than anything I’ve seen," Mays said. "It’s very special. I couldn’t believe the stadium was sold out in the pouring rain. It’s just so real. Everyone is bought in, and Coach Swinney told me before the game, the ‘fun is in the winning.’"
Mays finished up the interview saying that the Clemson visit will give him something to think about.
"I want to win a National Championship and get the best opportunity to play at the highest level,” Mays said. "Obviously, Clemson has the tools to help me achieve my goal."
The 5-star star prospect is reportedly headed a visit to Ohio State this weekend and Clemson and Georgia are also in his lead pack of schools.

Ol' Butch doesn't have to worry - if he gets fired this year, Browns owner Jimmy Haslam will probably hire him in Cleveland. Heck, Jimmy will probably do his alma mater a solid and hire Butch away from the Vols anyway. Jimmy's going to clean house again this year, history indicates there's a good chance he'll hire the wrong people again, and he's such a big Vols fan that he changed the Browns' orange to be more TN-like, so it's a possibility. Although, Butch is probably too bright of a football mind to have a front office job with Cleveland, the only football team anywhere run by a damn lawyer.
GameDay got me all hype for Miami to beat Notre Dame. I still don't think it'll happen, but I want it.
I love College GameDay but hate it so damn much. I was fully emotionally prepared for a beat down today in Jordan Hare but now I think Auburn might have a shot.

GameDay hype train can go straight to hell.
I learned that game day hype means nothing. I don't believe in it anymore.

I don't think anyone on the crew is particularly good at predicting outcomes. But the segment on the Prayer at Jordan Hare got me all hot and bothered which I do not appreciate.

For sure. I watch it because I enjoy the range of topics. I don't watch it for analysis. Much like ESPN in general, it has put entertainment value above everything else.
