Since the board is essentially dead now...I might just be posting this for myself, but here's the new Future Islands single....really hoping they close Which on Sunday before RHCP.
Nice to see them release some new material. I saw these guys last November and they were really good but some new songs would have helped their set. Interesting to see that Debbie Harry (Blondie) is singing a duet with Herring on a different song from the upcoming release. It would have been inspired if Bonnaroo had booked Blondie. That would have given them their sorely needed legacy act and a chance for a live collaboration......but that would have probably been too creative for Live Nation to figure out on their own.

I could see them getting the Caribou spot from 15, close That Tent on Sunday. Seems a little light for Which. Their Schedule allows for Saturday or Sunday. So That or This Tent around 7 to 8 seems about right. I have a feeling as much as Sam dances around they will keep him in a tent.
Oh, and the song is solid; nothing spectacular though.

Just for accuracy purposes, Caribou closed The Other Tent in 2015, not That Tent.
I also don't think the schedule makers at Roo will take a lead singers dancing habits into consideration when placing an act.

I think the way he attacks the performance, you have to consider that with Future Islands. I would be shocked if they aren't in a tent. Plus it makes sense with their popularity being moderate at best. I see no reason for big stage with them.
For some reason I remembered Caribou was at That tent. Memories always get a little hazy on Sundays at Roo. Regardless, same time That Tent.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.

I'm just rooting against Which because the hot ass sun kills most performances there. I might be trying to talk myself into a tent so I can enjoy the performance more. We shall see.

I saw them on the main stage during the day at Hangout and on a small side stage at night at Life Is Beautiful in the same year. They're a way better fit for a smaller stage at night.

Loving the new album after one quick listen through. Not perfect start to finish but already a big fan of Time On Her Side, Beauty of the Road, North Star, and Black Rose in addition to the 2 tracks released already. Pumped for June.

It's very nice. I hope to catch them somewhere soon. No Texas dates has me thinking they will be at one of Austin's fall fests. Bonnaroo probably puts them on Which or What in the middle of the hot day.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
