I think he’ll be back out after nadya and Chelsea. He’s already done two poems though, both great.
Good to know Nadya hasn’t been on yet. I thought they were going in reverse billing order. Took a walk around the building and a lot of the exhibits are currently closed off and crews are still working. I haven’t tried upstairs yet.
There's a really long line for some installation. Probably not going to see it, think I missed one last year for similar reason. I should probably use the time I have today to do it but lines blow.

It was pretty cool and the line shortened and moves quickly. I felt like I need a good Ole fashion Contra spread gun to battle what was inside.

good running into spent, Fuzzywarbles, cmack and Jimmadog last night. We had to wait a little while for our contact to come through, so I unfortunately missed Jenny Hval. I did get to roam through the limited areas that were open, and shit is looking great. People were saying to see the robot room exhibit, but the line was long to get in. Maybe I'll get a chance to check that out early today or tomorrow. Earl was alright. I'd seen him twice before, and this was a better show. Earl was into it so he was having a good time. He started off with about 15-20 minutes of his slow flow style, then he got things a little more cranking. I'm not sure who was djing for him, but he sounded good. I know Jim said he was happy with that Earl show. It's kind of funny because I'm used to earl being that awkward pudgy little rap kid, but he's finally grown up and fits his lyrics better. Kaytranada sounded good but it was a little to the dancey and discoy side of things for me. It's all good though we probably should have gone to DK's for that show. I'm a bit hung over but should be arriving fairly early today if I wake back up in time. Air B&B is great and way up on the top floor of a high rise downtown. El Tiempo via Uber eats was very Fn good. I had filet asada, and that along with their fire roasted salsa was delicious. I think I have enough left for one or two more tacos for breakfast. See y'all later on with the entire krewe. It's great to be back in Houston, Texas, and even though we ain't really started yet, I'm pretty sure I'll be coming back in 2018.

We had Pinkertons BBQ yesterday and it was fantastic. Ribs with the sweet glaze were my favorite. Brisket was also fantastic. Jalapeno cheese sausage was good not great. Jalapeno cheese rice was delicious. Duck jambalaya was very good but very clean tasting which was slightly off-putting (I'm used to that thick ass muddy jambalaya). Potato salad was bland, no need to get that.
Banana cream cake was homemade and very good. Not too sweet.

I got WAY too fucked up last night and dipped after Earl, somehow made it back to the hotel with no phone. Going light on the drinking tonight so I can remember the memories of NIN and Jamie. I’ll be in there early as hell again, hope too see more of you folks.
Also I forgot to mention there is an outrageous assortment of cool merchandise. I picked up one of their photoluminescent jackets which came to about 135.00. It's a little high, but they are cool as shit. I'll probably get a hoodie and tshirt, but there is a lot of shit to choose from. The St. Vincent shirt is a long sleeve sweatshirt with a picture of her on it.

The bartenders kept charging me weird prices and kept trying to give me specialty drinks instead of a regular mixed drink, but nonetheless got pretty wasted
How are the security checks/bags/cameras/crotch grabs?
Easy enough. They gave you a pat down raised arms and sides and asked what was in my pockets and I showed them. They didn't go any farther than that. And people were partying plenty so not a big deal if planned for. Bags were searched with a stick.
