I wanted a fest like Panorama/Coachella/FYF because those all suit my music tastes more than other major festivals in America. Obviously AEG being involved wouldn't have guaranteed that but that's why I wish they were involved. I'm not sure how I can make this any more clear.
Better than Firefly or Bumbershoot. I might give Hangout the slight edge though.
Hangout is the only one I would even consider attending. I'm not sure that being slightly less terrible than something else that's also terrible really matters.

If you see the lineup and you don't like it, stay home.
I think whether AEG was involved or not you would have been disappointed. Booking a lineup for a festival in NYC, LA, or a Coachella that sells out no matter who is on the lineup; is not the same as booking one for a first year festival in Denver Colorado. The best you could have hoped for probably was a Hangout-esque lineup.

No fucking shit. Does that mean I can't hope to like it? Like Jesus Christ how fucking dense can you get?

Because Denver and Boulder are hotbeds of new, pioneering and hybrid styles of music, I guess the question would be do they cater to a national audience or to a more localized one? I'm sure that overall, the 25-30% of acts at every fest would be on the lineup. But that's a different world, very jam centric with lots of collaborations and emerging acts.

You mean like Big Gigantic, Pretty Lights, and The Lumineers? I think youll get them. (those are really the only Denver based acts that I am aware of, but Id be happy to hear suggestions on others).

Nathaniel Rateliff? lol
A quick google search jogged my memory that String Cheese, Yonder Mountain, and EW&F are from Denver too
Nathaniel Rateliff - Pretty Lights - Big Gigantic - Earth Wind & Fire - The Lumineers - String Cheese Incident - Yonder Mountain
