Have they not announced the super jam yet? That's odd, isn't it?
not really, if I recall correctly superjam announcements have always been all over the place. Sometimes super early, sometimes as late as the end of May, and of course sometimes no announcement at all.
Umphreys leading the superjam would be a huge plus. Just a basic UM set with them doing covers with guests is already a huge improvement over the past two years of superjams.
The ideal superjam would be an all instrumental King Crimson Projekt-esque free jazz improvisation steeped in darkness and fear, but that doesn't happen anymore.
Their ability to play all over the map in terms of genres and covers makes them so perfect for that. It feels like a no brainer but I'm not getting my hopes up till Roo confirms.

I have a feeling if it was Umph, they'd have already announced it. We'll probably get another hodgepodge karaoke session that they throw together last minute.
Umphreys+Big G Superjam would be nice ..... both got screwed on their sets time wise
Agreed on UM, but some of Big G's best shows are in the overnight hours. What would be unfortunate would be if Bonnaroo is now going with a strict 3:00am shut down policy for that area (The Other Tent), and that was it for the night. They are one of those bands that when they play a good show will ramp people up. What do you do then? Red Bull Academy Takeover?
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Yeah this helped big time. Now idk why there would be an issue logistically but what they should do, is move that slot tht was going to be for sphongle later. Start it at 1:30 or something so there's something opposing Marshmello at least partially. There is no reason SJ, Flume, Umphreys, and the Other Stage all need to be going at the same time while Mello is unopposed at 2 am.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
