Yo beachbob , you hitting both weekends of this or what?
Sounds like a great lineup but, not going to LA or NYC to see this. I've got Doobie/Chicago VIP Tix for Nashville in June, Bonnaroo tix, and looking at John Mayer as well as others. Earth, Wind and Fire is playing tomorrow night in Chattanooga but, will pass on them as well. I would have loved to see Earth, Wind and Fire at Hangout or Bonnaroo, ditto Doobies, Fleetwood Mac, and John Mayer but, doesn't look like that is happening.
For the right price I'll go to the second night. Fleetwood Mac and Earth, Wind & Fire is a great bill (I'm pretty meh on Journey).
My son thought the same thing and we wound up singing like rock stars all night long. Journey is just freaking amazing live. You will know the words to almost every song, even if you are under 25. Top outdoor show for me last year.
