Good for you man. Looks like that sold out in seconds.
It was surprisingly easy for me. Got online and in the waiting room around 2:55 and filled out all my information. At 3:06 I got a message saying it was my turn to purchase tickets.
Jealous. You are going to have a great time. It almost doesnt even matter who else is on the lineup. Gorillaz first show in years and its at an amusement park? Sounds epic already.

Exactly. I'm already going to be over there during the time. For $80 it was a no brainer. Just need to sort out lodging in the area and travel to/from London.
is there actually a lineup for this besides Gorillaz yet?
I feel like i'm the only one who liked it. Reminded me a lot of their stuff on the first record. Weird, disjointed, yet still able to nod my head too. I hope this record is more like their self titled LP.

The features on today's tracks are more up my alley.
Four new Gorillaz songs have appeared on Tidal. They are called “Ascension” [ft. Vince Staples], “We Got the Power” [ft. Jehnny Beth of Savages], “Saturnz Barnz” [ft. Popcaan], and “Andromeda” [ft. D.R.A.M.]. The tracks are not yet available to stream. Pitchfork has reached out to Gorillaz and Tidal reps for more information.
That sounds so great. Can't wait to see what they sound like. What did you think of Plastic Beach? It took some time to grow on me, but love it now.
Love it. Honestly, the only album they put out that I wasn't too big on was The Fall.. But I think that was just outtakes from Plastic Beach? I can't remember.

Pretty sure you are right. Maybe a recording they made while touring Plastic Beach.

I believe it was recorded on a bunch of iPad apps during their American tour.
Those features sound awesome, but damn its gonna be tough to beat Plastic Beach on that front. Lou Reed, MES, Bobby Womack, Mos Def... Its a bummer to think about how half of that list have passed since.

What's their best album tho? I'm going with Demon Days. It's the only Brian Burton album that didn't ruin the band, and is such a cohesive record. Love it.
