God damn. Me and my buddy do a set time release time bet every year and our over/under this year was 6:17 PM PT with me as the under (I know, we're weird). I see that tweet notification come through at 6:16 PM PT and see the word "set times" and start talking the most shit, just to realize I got trolled
"Jamiroquai vs. The Weeknd would be a nightmare for me. [My Gf] was meh on seeing The Weeknd again, but this last release got her back in the game again so she’ll want to see him for sure even though she wants to see Jamiroquai too"
Friday is mostly fine even though I never would have thought they'd put Jamiroquai vs. The Weeknd. SZA / JMJ / Soulwax also feels a little crammed but is what it is
Saturday is really good. Feel for X Japan but is what it is. No clue why M0 got such a prime slot and Angel Olsen vs. Priests vs. Yaeji is stacking a lot of people talent at one time.
Sunday is a cluster. 4-6 PM is kind of rough. Miguel vs. King Krule? Kamasi vs. Potugal? A Perfect Circle vs. The Drums? The Drums would have been great Em counter-programming and are now stuck vs. APC, Migos, and camping for Em.
That schedule worked out pretty well. Chic being that early (and before Chromeo) is kinda funny.
And in before the Cardi B 35 minute set lol train
Chic probably would've made more sense later in the day on a smaller stage but they were probably doomed to a disappointingly small crowd no matter where they were scheduled.
Friday: Benjamin Clementine > Boogarins > Moses Sumney > Kelela > Justin Martin/Kali Uchis > Avalon Emerson/Daniel Caesar > Black Coffee/The Blaze > Troyboi > Detroit Love > Soulwax > Maceo Plex > Jamiroquai > Carpenter Brut/Rezz This day is going to be exhausting but great.
Saturday: Sir Sly > Mild High Club > Chic > Yaeji > Brockhampton > David Byrne > Tyler > Oh Sees/Fleet Foxes > Tom Misch > The Black Madonna/Beyonce/X Japan/dolab
Sunday: Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever > Omar S > Kolsch > Peggy Gou/Japanese Breakfast > Talaboman > MCDE > last 5 minutes of Cardi to see Bodack Yellow > John Maus > Portugal The Man > King Krule > APC > Michael Mayer/do lab
definitely over confident in my abilities to make it to this many sets but in a perfect world it'll be something like that.
Soulwax vs JMJ vs Maceo Plex vs Detroit Love w/ Moodymann?
Oh man if I were going I would be so livid right now.
kinda annoying, but at the same time Detroit Love > Soulwax > Maceo Plex/JMJ > Jamiroquai > Detroit Love/Carpenter Brut/Rezz is a fucking FIRE run of sets

Well, here's my first impression:
Fri: Benjamin Clementine > Moses Sumney (emotional fucking start to the weekend) or Fazerdaze > Kelela or the Marias > HITO, Kali Uchis or Greta Van Fleet > Avalon Emerson > Black Coffee or The War on Drugs > Detroit Love > Soulwax > Maceo Plex > Jamiroquai Sat: Ron Gallo > Otoboke Beaver > Big Thief > Nile Rodgers & CHIC > Yaeji > Jackmaster or BROCKHAMPTON > Tash Sultana > Tyler, the Creator or Pachanga Boys > Oh Sees or Jorja Smith > The Black Madonna > Beyonce or X Japan Sun: Omar-S > B Boys or noname > Peggy Gou > Talaboman > Motor City Drum Ensemble > Kamasi Washington > Princess Nokia > ODESZA or King Krule > Jamie Jones > Michael Mayer and maybe some Do LaB
