Saturday looks like the best. I'll be at Nelson ledges for summerdance though . Lotus is playing all 3 nights this year instead of the normal 2
Oh man I promised myself Id go to that in 2017. Any more info on it?
It's usually only like 90 bucks. Lotus usually headlines sat and Sunday but the word is they are doing all 3 nights this year. Small little chill venue def a more wook crowd but I love lotus. And a beach and cliffs and amazing weather and disco pizza! One of my fav places to spend Labor Day!
lol you do realize 2 out of the 3 artists i listed above are bands right?
Bonobo is a producer with a backing band. And I've never heard of bad bad whatever because they prolly suck
badbadnotgood is outrageously good. Don't sleep on them if you like bands. We saw them back Ghostface, but they are excellent by themselves. Down beat jazz, technical sound. Great musicians.
As to the hate for Saturday, people can say what they want. STS9 never sucks. They never will. I saw Jr. Gong at Hangout and enjoyed it. I thought it was kind of fresh. Big Boi should be great, and Joe Russo's Almost Dead doesn't suck. I vouch for Spafford and Sunsquabi. And for sure Manic Focus gets better and better. I heard Borahm Lee is playing keyboards on this tour. I can make a fun and memorable day out of that.

I guess if you don't enjoy good jam bands you wouldn't enjoy Saturday or Sunday is all I'm saying 😜😜😜

For me it's horrible. If you like that stuff, awesome. Damian Marley as a #1 act on a day of a festival like this is absurd, though.
my thoughts exactly like how the fuck?
I still have to disagree. I like almost all of the Chicago Fest lineups. And in retrospect, I would still have a blast. Depending on conflicts there was Bonobo Live, Lettuce, badbadnotgood and Gucci Mane on Friday. Jr. Gong, STS9, Big Boi, JRAD, Manic Focus Spafford, Sunsquabi and The Russ Liquid Test on Saturday. Sunday would be Ween, Primus, Tipper, Skepta and Bob Moses. That's some money as fuck shit for $150.
I was able to finesse Friday tickets for $37.50 so I'll be going that day. If for some reason any of the acts I want to see conflict (based on past schedules/lineup billing I don't see that happening) they added a Chicago House tent with Derrick Carter, Gene Farris, etc. that would be fun to stop in for a little bit. They also added Chicago dj's for Saturday and Sunday, but it's not enough to get me there either of those days.

A friend of mine is part of the Boogie Munsters. They're pretty fun.
I would go to any of these shows (and probably Gucci too if I wasn't seeing him at the festival). But I'd see any of these acts any time they came to New Orleans anyway. None of them are on a skip list (though Russ lives here so we see him from time to time).
–Manic Focus + Russ Liquid at Bottom Lounge
–Spafford at Concord Music Hall or –EOTO at Bottom Lounge
My girlfriend and I both won two tickets for Saturday but already made plans/don't want to go anyway. Who would have thought a festival day with Damian Marley and Carnage as the headliners wouldn't sell well?
They also added a Deadmau5 after show Friday night that sold out immediately, but I don't need to see him again.
I got a spot on Jukely for Sunday so I'm going to go for a few hours to see Cool Kids, Bob Moses, a bit of Primus and Skepta. Looking forward to seeing how much of a shitshow the crowd is.

Can you resell the tix you won? If so, i would love to take them off your hands.

God damnit why does North Coast get acts like Chemical Brothers and Jamiroquai just to piss me off. The festival fucking blows, the promoters React Presents are the shadiest in the business, and yet it may be my only chance to catch Jamiroquai.
