^ that is a good question. Also how in the hell are they gonna do the NBA finals? Lots of people line up for that
Checked out the website - looks like cinema events will be treated same as comedy. Book a spot by going and reserving it at the beginning of the day, and can't go to back to back. Anyone remember what time they usually open up the line every day? 10?

edit: I will probably be at camp more this year
Can't tell if you are actually going or not, but the suggestion I would emphasize the most is Angelique Kidjo before XX. Just seems like the most interesting booking of this year.
The people that saw LCD Soundsystem and still got close for Tame Impala last year, how did you do it? I need to rage at Travis Scott but I can't miss Lorde. Do I just maneuver around the crowd and find the pit line?

Couldn't leave the PIT for LCD but I wandered over to Tame as soon as it ended. I never tried to get into the PIT (should've) but I was able to get up pretty close very easily. Either everyone was super cool or the low crowds helped

Yeah I wasn't super successful in getting a great spot for Tame after LCD ended.
I was just behind the pit during LCD and walked right in front of the sound booth for tame. Most of the crowd just piled on the left side of which but if you kept walking to the other side there was plenty of room.

One thing I've learned is they always let more people into the pit after they initially say it's full. Like they'll tell you you're wasting your time and to go enjoy the show but if you just wait at the entrance for a while they'll usually eventually let more people in.
One act i'm 10000% avoiding i think is Jon Bellion, for some reason i cannot STAND a single song of his. Maybe his voice, maybe his lyrics but damn every time i hear a song by him come on my roo playlist i hit next as fast as possible.

Thursday: Hippo Campus - July Talk - The Orwells - Haywyre - Allan Rayman - Kaiydo - Ookay
Friday: Twin Limb - Klangstof - Barclay Crenshaw - CarSeatHeadrest - Cold War Kids - Boyfriend - The XX - Glass Animals - U2 - CVS/PTM (can't decide) - Big G
Saturday: The Front Bottoms - RKS - Tegan & Sara - Future Islands - Rezz - Warpaint - ? - RHCP - Flume
Sunday: Flint Eastwood - Baskery - Royal Blood - Umphrey's - Crystal Castles - Lorde - Badbadnotgood - The Weeknd
Two worst conflicts for me are Warpaint and Chance and Claude VonStroke and Portugal.the Man. Also, hoping for some miracle option to present itself after Flume.

I'm a little bummed I'll have to wait through that set while I'm in the pit line for Chance. I guess that's what ear plugs are for.

He is two sets away, how long are you planning on waiting in the pit line for chance dude?
Another question about the pit, after RKS I don't have shit to see until Future Islands. I was going to check out the Alt Rock Throwback thing and that gets done at 6 I believe, so there's still time to get over to Future Islands' set at the What Stage. U guys think for a set like FI I'd be able to stroll over there at like 6:15ish for their 6:45 set and get in the pit? That'd def a show I don't wanna see far from away. I would have no problem just skipping the alt rock thing anyway but I figure that'd be worth it for sure.

Getting pit for The Front Bottoms and then hopping in line right after for Chance...why am I being ridiculous? There's nothing else I'd like to see during the day besides Tegan & Sara and Rezz. But I don't mind missing their sets for a guaranteed spot in the pit.

Just feel like you probably get there right before FI starts or even ends, and still be fine to get in to the Chance Pit. What do i know though.

Yeah you're probably right. But I actually really do enjoy waiting in the pit line for long periods of time. I always end up making new best friends that are passionate about the same things I am. It's never a bad experience. Besides most of Saturday would be downtime for me anyways so why not secure a spot for my top artist for Bonnaroo this year?

Considering a similar route but going to RKS at which as well and then getting in line during Bellion. Might go to comedy tent for Shakespeare improv though, get in line and watch Future Islands from there.

I keep getting hounded by everyone at home to go, and there just isn't any reasonable schedule that makes even half full days worth anything. If I went on Thursday, it would be like Mondo Cozmo > hour wandering > Herobust > G. Jones > Full Service Party. I like the 3 acts, but that's not very good.
Friday: Klangstof (don't know them but have read) > 2 hours of wandering > G White Night > Stick Figure > Illenium (eh) > the xx > Pres Hall > U2 > Portugal > Big G = Solid Night that really doesn't roll until 5. And I've seen Illenium, okay but not exciting.
Saturday: Rainbow Kitten > San Holo > Head and Heart > Chance > Cage > RHCP > Superjam or Shpongle presents Shpongletron = Solid night but nothing day
Sunday: Royal Blood > Umphrey's > badbadnotgood = seen them all and love UM and bbng, but would that be worth staying an extra day for? Not for me. I'm more and more leaning away from going and just watching some sets on television.
Major Lazer would be that show for me. Just zero chance I go anywhere near that set.
ML gets a lot of shit, but lets be real, they've got a significant number of better songs than Jon Bellion. Also, that guy looks like he might love himself more than diplo.

why would you just wander during Khruangbin?
Even as bad as this lineup is I could have full days every day except Thur.
To me really it's Thursday and Sunday. I miss shit like 2012 or any of the last 2 Waka years where you walk in with a solid 16 hours of scheduling ahead and need to pace until 5/6am.
