Was it 2004 when it rained so much and there was about 8 inches of sloopy mud everywhere and it smelled horrible and by the portopotties you couldn't tell if you were standing in mud of if it was porto-overflow?
The undercard of that lineup was so ridiculously geared towards bands who are wonderful live. It was my first festival and I couldn't believe that something like Bonnaroo existed. It was such a great time. The art of such and such or Something Else...bands playing in the campgrounds...parade with William Ho and Dirty Dozen, these were the things that blew me away. There was a girl who fell off of her stilts and a bunch of strangers ran over to help her up but there was a specific way to do it and she calmly explained to us how to do it and then we all worked together and did it first try and everyone went nuts. I guess this stuff still happens at Roo, but damn, the lineup is really horrible this year. I'm going, but it's more for these other reasons.
But yeah, hopefully the weather is good.
EDIT: It's WAY TOO EARLY TO LOOK AT THE WEATHER FOR THIS!
In other words, normal weather for the South in the summer. You can predict that and be right 80% of the time.
I'm just saying. I'm from Chicago so I wouldn't know that.
While I absolutely encourage keepin' up with the weather reports over the next 10-12 days, this is generally true in the SE. In spring/summer there is a 50/50 chance of rain almost any day of the week. It might be only a drizzle, but there's a solid chance of a downpour. It could last five minutes to a day.

Awww, man, I didn't mean that post to sound harsh! Ain't your weather about the same in the summer? I guess you can make easy winter forecasts for Chicago--that's what's hard to predict in the South!

It's all good. Yeah, it's been like that recently. It'll be really nice out for a couple of days and then it'll drop 30 degrees and rain. The last time I was in Tennessee during the summer I was visiting my grandma in Memphis, it was 100 degrees and dry everyday. This was probably 10 or 13 years ago.
Both fests I went to last year had rain delays, so hoping I don't bring the rain. Never experienced a single rain delay until 2016.
Rain delayed 3 times last year in subsequent weeks...
Memorial Day Bash, TX (Lips/13th Floor/DIIV, body/head canceled)
FPSF, TX (National got their set shortened)
Roo (that god awful wait before Claypool Lennon)
after the first two happened to me I was damn sure I wasn't leaving Centeroo because I knew that it would be a waste of time to go back and forth to camp.
That fpsf rain delay was nice. Cleared out half of the people at the festival. We just set up under a tree until it cleared and were front and center for deadmau5.
The mid 80s look far more appetizing than the 95 plus that last year brought us. Typical summer 20 to 50% rain chances throughout various parts of the weekend. With good rain over the Month of May (Arcade Fire Rulez) and this up coming weekend, it should minimize dust as well. I'll take this forecast as it stands.
