A$AP Rocky is doing shows this year and most likely releasing an album in early 2018. I can see him and Uzi being the 2 big names for hip-hop in the undercard which would both be pretty good choices

The whole A$AP Mob would be cool
I'm all for the entire MoB being there, but Rocky better get his own set!
I think just between him and big gigantic I'm a little burnt out on the saxophone drop just doesn't really do it for me. If anyone is going to be with a live band I hope it is pretty lights and I'm kinda over that as well unless he puts out some new music.
Yeah I’d be okay never seeing Big G again after seeing them only once so yeah i get that and I’d also take Pretty Lights over both and his album is lonng overdue and could drop anytime.
Honestly I didn't even know who he was and I missed his actual set. I can only speak to his surprise sunrise and the show I caught in KC. Those two were quacking awesome. Judging on that and video of his Red Rocks live band set, I could see him knocking the door off the hinges with the band. If you like funk, you'll like Griz in good form. But yeah, if he had technical difficulties don't knock the man too hard. Also his boy Opiuo is quacking goooood. Idk how to describe him. He's much closer to classic EDM vibe. In a housey sense. Here, this one's almost Daft Punky:

I would throw Noah Gundersen into the mix, had a new album out in August, no Tennessee dates in the spring, and is playing Laurelive. Never palyed Roo before, would be a pretty predictable crossover.

For me, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Silk City. Margo Price, too, but she was just at Roo last year so that's not happening.

If we're getting Eminemed, at least it looks like we'll get Westside Gunn & Conway as part of the Shady Festival Package Deal. They and Denzel Curry are a great start for hip hop.

Considering how huge of a bump SZA got on Coachella's poster, where do you think she'd be billed at Roo? Something comparable to Ellie Goulding 16/Lorde 17?

If she gets booked that's what I would think. I have noticed (I'm pretty sure I'm right about this) that I haven't seen a lineup with both SZA + Khalid, but almost every fest has one of them. I'm hoping it's not some weird either/or situation since both are R&B/pop acts. I would so much rather have SZA, but Khalid's tour dates make him seem likely.
I’m just hoping for MGMT. they just dropped another new song Hand it Over and it’s so good. Plus I’ve been obsessed with Little Dark Age and When I Die. New banger after banger with them.
