Still haven’t; I have a friend whose apartment overlooks the venue so we might just watch some from afar. Ticket site fees really grind my gears lately and I can’t get past the ~$40 Stubhub wants to take on these tix

Looks like the Megadeth and Peter Frampton shows at VACU Live were recently cancelled because of stage structural issues. Yikes.
I wonder how much longer that venue will stay open once the Riverfront one is operational
They've already announced 2 shows for next year at VACU Live. I'm personally wondering about the Live Loud Concert Series at Brown's Island and Music at Maymont. I've heard rumors about the latter not returning next year.

I like having maymont and Lewis ginter as occasional concert spots, I hope they continue to put on a few each year. Browns and the new amphitheater may be a bit redundant, though. Google says 16k capacity on brown’s but they obviously sell out way before that number, maybe 5k? Not a ton of artists that are a slam dunk booking for a 5k venue but aren’t ready for a 7k amphitheater

According to Style Weekly, it sounds like the new Richmond amphitheater plans on being open in May and would likely be alternating big-name shows with Ting Pavilion

Well it's not so secret now, it's at Capital Turnaround, but it was TBD when I bought the ticket. Started getting scared it was gonna be like north of Baltimore. Looks like a newish independent promoter/ticket agent working with independent venues and artists for tours. Called bside and seems promising but it's probably owned by Elon Musk or something.
It's with Monica Martin who I love - the lead singer of Phox and did an album with The Violents

They said Goose and Whiskey Myers are the type of bands to expect, which probably means they’ve been booked lol.
