I haven't been on the boards in a while because in November I had a massive stoke which left me paralyzed on my left side, I had to accept that I probably wouldn't be able to attend ever again so I purposely stayed away from the boards, but everyday I get a little stronger and I miss my favorite place in the world more and more. I found an all terrain wheelchair that can take me through sand and water and hiking using no power at all. I am determined to go next year, especially since I'm convinced that bonnaroo has to make up for this years lineup by giving us a stellar one next year. I was surprised to see that no one had started a thread about next year already because missing one too was enough to get me super psyched about next year.
Welcome back and congratulations on your recovery! I can't imagine how hard it's been and admire your being up to the challenge of 2018. I hope that your optimism for next year's lineup holds true. I'm skeptical at this point but I'm happy to be wrong!
As far as 2018 goes, here are two discussions that you might be into:

^^thanks! I saw the headliner thread but not the undercard thread. My confidence that too will redeem themselves in 2018 is strong enough that I think I might get a presale ticket this year. So *fingers crossed*!

Glad to hear you're recovery is goin' well, Melissa! I saw somethin' in of yours in my The Facebook feed the other week with you talkin' really briefly 'bout your stoke, but I didn't wanna pry. Hopefully they get the lineup issues worked out next year, and it'd be great to see you again! I often recount your kindness from 2010 helpin' me and my friend Zack get to The Farm!

Dan, you're the best. You guys made that year one of the most fun years I've had. I hope my confidence in too isn't in vain. I mean I'm not going to "trustfall" into Live Nation'sarms but I am not above begging them for an excellent lineup. If I make it to roo this upcoming year I'll make sure to pop by the brunch and see all of you awesome people

It's an experience like no other. Even with the crowd being younger this past year, the vibe was still the same and that's an amazing part of Roo.
This, my first year in 2014 I felt like I was the youngest one there (16), it was so weird having the majority of everyone about the same age as me this year but everyone was still so kind to each other and really happy to be there. I went to Okeechobee this year and it just was not the same even though it was a really cool festival. I didn't have that wow factor that I still have every year when I come to Roo. It's really like there's something in the air on the farm.

We are so excited to go , I'm 33 and my husband is 37 . We have wanted to attend since 2002 but life got in the way ( marriage.. Kids) but we both have booked our time off and waiting for tickets to go on sale later in the year . Long 15 hour drive from Canada but it will be totally worth it . I hope there is some kind of meet up with members here .. We both love meeting new people.. Anyways maybe some of you will come across us Canadian free loving couple 🤘🎸💔🇨🇦

Bonnaroo 2018 predictions, AKA Apocroolypse18, as revealed to me by "an insider" off the record:
Headliners are RHCP, NIN, WS(MF)P and DMB, with MGMT, MMJ, NOFX, OAR, MOE, KoL, RZA, GZA, KRS-One, G. Love, Schoolboy Q, J-Roc (J to the R-O-C, not Jay Rock), STS-9, SBTRKT, alt-J, Local H, The XX, Y LUV, ZZ Top, ZZ Ward, Ice-T, K.Flay, Louis C.K., a new EDM 24-hour mega-stage, and Ed Helms (duh). Capitals or initials, or Ed Helms, or GTFO. Jay-Z is in the dog house again and is forbidden from touring. M&M fills in as a late replacement, complete with his newly-stylized name after agreeing to an unprecedented marketing partnership with the iconic candy company.
Attendance hits 200k. Inforoo occupies all of TO. Crowd riots and goes ape-shit Friday evening when inadequate bathroom facilities get all backed up and supply of $1/$2/$3 grilled cheeses and $10 beers can't meet demand. A bunch of people forget to hydrate and mob the med tents. Coffee County sheriff's deputies and Manchester police say, "Fuck it, we don't have the resources to arrest people for weed." Drug-related arrests hit an all-time high, and no one seems to mind. A drone swarm provides unprecedented shade for all of Centeroo, and a good time is had by all.
LN responds by filling the 2019 lineup with 7 sets each by Ellie Goulding and Marshmello, the Iggy Azalea Lip Sync Tent, Buffalo Springfield on Which with no amplification, R. Kelly's Middleschool or Bust Tour, a Dixie Chicks Superjam, and 63 pop bands you wish you'd never heard of. Comedy tent is absent. Curfew is 11:30 PM, strictly enforced. Those pesky trees in and around Pod 2 are finally removed. Pod -1 is opened, across the interstate. Body cavity searches upon entry are mandatory. Ed Helms declines invitation in favor of a nationwide county fair and rib fest tour, supporting of Billy ray Cyrus. Attendance reaches 17k, LN claims great success.
EDIT: Sorry, sleep-typing again, that was all just a dream (?).
