Negatives: -Perfume dropping is heartbreaking, but that was already going to be a difficult conflict day so I guess it could be worse. They are just so damn hard to see in the US -No Massive Attack replacement is a huge bummer. I understand smaller bands dropping and not being replaced, but if a headline acts drops, they should replace them. -Turnstile dropping isn't ideal, but they'll be around on the fest scene. That Thursday is kinda looking light for me now that Massive Attack is out, I'll Rina on 6/1, and Turnstile are out.
Positives -Extra day of music on 6/1 with Rina or Wet Leg -A second chance for a Fred Again.. set to not clash with something else I got to see -Napalm Death added to that already absurd Saturday -Doss & Kero Kero Bonito La Ciutat show on 6/5 (would be awesome if they are playing the same venue) -Yuele added on a day that was looking kinda light for me
I wouldn't quite say fair trade as Perfume was in my top 5 for the whole weekend, but it could've been worse.
Wasn't able to add an extra night at the hotel I'm staying at for weekend 1, but I booked at one nearby. Gonna be weird being in 4 different hotel rooms over my first week in Spain lol.

Not surprised with no MA replacement and I had a feeling Perfume would drop. Major disappointments and poor form/communication from the fest. Stings more when you think about all their promotion around their other four or five festivals. Still a hugely amazing line up though.
Thankfully I can see Turnstile and King Princess at Lolla. Perfume is a real bummer though.
Yeah, I can't see myself paying hundreds to see a k-pop show ever so this was a great chance to finally witness a show like that. That show they did at Coachella looked great. Sad man.
I feel like they are going to get a decent amount of pushback for not replacing Massive Attack. They were a big draw for a lot of people.
Definitely was a huge draw for me. It'd be understandable if they dropped out a couple days before like Frank and weren't replaced, but it's been a month already. Honestly some bull quack to just not replace them. The pushback they're getting on social right now is deserved. A headliner should always be replaced on principle.
I wouldn't be surprised if it hurts sales for next year because of hesitation from anyone weary of another headliner situation.

I'm curious how their SA festivals will sell. Seems like there's little to no interest in LA, they must be freaking out a bit.

oh I’m interested in LA. It’s just disgustingly expensive.

I would not be surprised if they were choosing to not replace MA in order to use their fee to cover perspective losses from LA.
Regardless of how the SA festivals sell, this is a PR disaster and not a good look on Primaveras behalf when your flagship festival's top line has an unfilled vacancy

Still great value but it really just feels like a massive attack on my genitals after Coachella booked Arcade Fire in a tent for seemingly no reason other than to flex.

Fred Again was my biggest act from W2 I was bummed about not seeing as a W1 exclusive, so thats sweet! but god damn, not even a Brockhampton replacement still? that shit was months ago.

If they aren’t bothered enough to replace their most exclusive headliner for both weekends, they certainly don’t care enough to replace an undercard act like Brockhampton

Brockhampton were likely 4th on their day if the lineup wasn't alphabetical

They were probably primed to play Mordor and would definitely have been no lower than 6th if it wasn't alphabetical, I'm just saying they've already established they are willing to let a deadliner drop without a replacement, so I doubt we here another peep from them about brockhampton
