Made a top 60 list (roughly ten from each day but includes some city and brunch shows) so that every time I make a certain amount of money towards the trip I can check one off and say "that paid for Logic1000" or whatever. Here's the list, spoilered because a top 60 feels completely obnoxious.

I need some sage advice on lodging from someone with more travel experience than me (it’s my first international trip). I booked a stay at BCN Sports Hostel which was extremely cheap, but I looked more into the reviews and it’s seems kinda sketch. I see the Generator which is super reputable has a similar bed available for $900ish more.
Anyone ever stayed at that specific hostel or could take a look at the reviews and advise if that is something I should be worried about? $900 is a lot of money to me (normally my budget for a whole fest trip), so I’d rather stay in the cheap spot if possible, but I also don’t want to get stuck in a shady hostel I’m uncomfortable at for 13 days alone in a foreign country. I appreciate any insights.

sports hostel sounds like a place you crash at for a night while heading to a Barcelona game, doesn’t sound like a great place to stay at for 13 nights

After revisiting Patterns of Consciousness, Caterina Barbieri is definitely one of my top acts this year. Sunday is going to be a scheduling nightmare but I'll be very happy if I can see her and Angel Bat Dawid in the Auditori.

Was supposed to see Caterina Barbieri at Big Ears that was a few weeks before lockdown and they canceled the festival. They rebooked a lot of what I was excited this past one, but sadly not her. I image that’s gonna be incredible.
I caught ABD multiple times this year and your gonna be blown away. I was with each set.

I hope you can catch her soon! Definitely one of the best adds this year.
I saw Angel earlier this year and it was... a very odd set. Very emotional in both good and bad ways? Hoping this set is a little more standard with a full band.

She apparently got pissed off at BE and walked out before her set started. I’ve yet to figure out if she played or not. I did see her a few days before and it was transcendent. The Sistazz of the Nitty Gritty is her newish group (but I’m sure you know that). Bass/piano/clarinet. I can’t imagine how good that’s gonna be in that venue.
Will be interesting to see if they fill out the lineup. Way less names than in 19, Heiniken tent, that stage facing the ocean that jarv.is dj'd at and the Spanish trap/tap stage across the bridge don't exist atm.

can we expect someone notable or just a bunch of local acts?

Noticed that 8th June is going to be the evening where Megan Thee Stallion, Bad Gyal and La Eowi play, somewhere PC Music, Mag Bay plays w Khruangbin and Phoenix and then there's Also Jorja Smith. Anyone else tried splitting yourself in four already? Cause goddamn. Rest of the days, I think the choices are more obvious, for me personally but that last day..

On that note, is it feasible to go from one city show to another? I might have asked this before, can't remember.

We don’t really know until they release the schedule for it. Would be cool if there was an afternoon wave of shows and an evening one that you could catch two of, but they may try to just have them all overlap to thin the crowds out.

I think I’m settling on Phoenix/Khru/Mag/Pom Pom. While i do have interest in acid angel, 1. I don’t think I’ll get in, 2. I don’t care for Charli’s recent album, and 3. Mag Bay is top 5 all weekend for me so i need to see em. Megan is great too but she doesnt play long sets live, i’ll try and catch her at Parc Del Fòrum

My thoughts exactly on all points. Acid Angel was something I was insanely excited for when I bought the ticket, but I just can’t see a universe where people get in without waiting 10+ hours and that’s just not something I want to do. Seeing Phoenix should free up some conflicts on that stacked Saturday as well.
