Maybe I’m just naively optimistic, but maybe Arcade Fire asked not be on the updated poster to give their Madrid show a chance to sell out before announcing a fest in Spain.
Also the Acid Angel thing is gonna be show of the weekend y’all are foolish
Definitely will be and if I can somehow grab one of those 15% of tickets that go on sale then I’d go, I just can’t see myself having fun after waiting in a line for half a day to just get in.

I don't think it would be that odd. in 2017 they literally built their own stage and performed without ever announcing anything.
Noticed that 8th June is going to be the evening where Megan Thee Stallion, Bad Gyal and La Eowi play, somewhere PC Music, Mag Bay plays w Khruangbin and Phoenix and then there's Also Jorja Smith. Anyone else tried splitting yourself in four already? Cause goddamn. Rest of the days, I think the choices are more obvious, for me personally but that last day..
I think I’m settling on Phoenix/Khru/Mag/Pom Pom. While i do have interest in acid angel, 1. I don’t think I’ll get in, 2. I don’t care for Charli’s recent album, and 3. Mag Bay is top 5 all weekend for me so i need to see em. Megan is great too but she doesnt play long sets live, i’ll try and catch her at Parc Del Fòrum
I think as an american seeing a show at Poble Espanyol would be pretty special, plus its still a great card.
What time are you all getting in line for that Acid Angel show? Demand is going to be way higher than capacity.
I'm going to try to buy a ticket but if I strike out on that I'll probably get in line like an hour before the show starts. Maybe less if there's a separate line for 2 weekend VIP
I’ve got a decent crew of people that I think are pretty determined to get in so I’m sure we’ll grab some food and beers and get there a couple hours early and hang out.

I hope you can catch her soon! Definitely one of the best adds this year.
I saw Angel earlier this year and it was... a very odd set. Very emotional in both good and bad ways? Hoping this set is a little more standard with a full band.
She apparently got pissed off at BE and walked out before her set started. I’ve yet to figure out if she played or not. I did see her a few days before and it was transcendent. The Sistazz of the Nitty Gritty is her newish group (but I’m sure you know that). Bass/piano/clarinet. I can’t imagine how good that’s gonna be in that venue.
Not sure if I mentioned this already but Mag Bay was super disappointing at SXSW. Their excellent recorded music didn't really translate into an enjoyable show, and the 5 other people I was with felt similarly. So if you miss them, don't beat yourself up is all I'm saying.

the show i saw in february was fantastic, you should beat yourself up if you miss it

agreed they were incredible. sxsw is usually quite exhausting for artists so i’m not surprised they put on less than desirable performance
On that note, is it feasible to go from one city show to another? I might have asked this before, can't remember.
We don’t really know until they release the schedule for it. Would be cool if there was an afternoon wave of shows and an evening one that you could catch two of, but they may try to just have them all overlap to thin the crowds out.

Thing is that Phoenix is great, but not really a must see for me. Khruangbin seen to many times and then for me the real catch stays MagBay really.. Megan, La Zowi and Bad Gyal is one hell of a concert evening run, even if the shows are on the shorter side. I knowww Spanish people can be insane at shows, so I'm sure this will be the case for that concert in particular.

I don't want this to happen, but I'm sure as hell know it will argh.
The PC Music nights aren't doing to well, I've heard so.. maybe it's a big bubble? Concerts in Brussels and Amsterdam are getting give-aways left and right..
This went under the radar, but they announced 28 artists for Primavera Pro (at the CCCB and NightPro). Could be some gems in there if you find yourself awake at noon one day.
