Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
you have plenty of time, believe it rarely sells out. If money is a factor better to do it sooner, noticed a couple places ive stayed at before are booked up, flight prices skyrocket etc.
Ah. Important info as well. I'm torn between this and Mad Cool. Correct me if In wrong but I feel like this is ran much more smoothly?
complete amateur hour at 2018 mad cool. had a good time still and i thought sound at the main stages was a bit better but primavera is on another level.
My only genuine advice for Primavera is that you need to prepare yourself for how many stairs you’re going to have to climb, learn how to order mixed drinks in Spanish, and avoid all British people if possible.

I think this is enough for me.
I’m the biggest Bonnaroo defender in the world. I’m very satisfied with the 2020 Roo lineup. But it is funny how these lists of “maybes” would be absolute must sees on any given day at Roo. King Gizz being a great example. Ahhh perspective.

Agreed, conflicts can get so crazy, but for the King Gizz example I have tickets to both their marathon red rocks shows or they'd move up at least a tier.
If we don't get Glasto resale tickets we were planning on being in Barcelona these days anyway so we'll prob be in for this. That is a pretty good consolation prize to not doing Glasto
Really good lineup. Don’t love this festival but they book well.
Would see: AEAEA Aurora Halal Boy Harsher Call Super b2b Shanti Celeste Caribou Caroline Polachek Chromatics Fatima Yamaha Floating Points DJ Harvey Jenny Hval King Krule Leon Vynehall Lorenzo Senni Massive Attack Mica Levi Park Hye Jin Sherelle Special Request Squarepusher
For those who have been to this / Barcelona before... where would you suggest staying that is good for general Barcelona-visiting as well as festival transport?
Now how are you going to do that if you go to Glasto?
I like British people though, so I didn't have a problem.
The reason why everyone at Glastonbury carries the flag of their country with them is to signal to every non English person where all the normal people are.

I thought it was just to get in my fucking way so I couldn’t see.

Near the Playa de Catalunya. Or at least along the yellow metro line, which is the one that goes directly to the Parc Del Forum.
Both albums are great, but I'd start with their debut, Fantezi Muzik
didn’t realize they only had two! Really like their songs that have popped up in my prima playlist.
yeah they're great, one of the biggest surprises (for me) to come out of Turkish indie scene recently. I had a chance to catch their show few years ago too, and they're pretty good

Seconded! If you're just going to be in for a few days and focusing on the festival, that's a good plan. I'd recommend searching in L'Eixample district.
-You'd be easy walking distance to many of the main attractions (Las Ramblas/La Boqueria market, Sagrada Familia, Gothic Quarter/picasso museum, the beach, the arc de triomphe, etc.)
-The subway connection is easy to the festival (stop is right across the street from the entrance btw), though it does stop for a few hours in the late nights Thursday and Friday. Free buses are available. Saturday night/Sunday morning the subway is on all night but it does get packed.
-It's generally cheaper than staying right in the Gothic Quarter and the hotels right by the Parc Del Forum (at least it was 4 years ago), and it's a really lovely area to walk around in. Countless restaurants/shops/parks/streets to just walk down!

Thank you both! Right now if we go we’d probably only do a day or two of the fest. We were planning on doing 5 days in Barcelona anyways, so this fits in nicely, but we still want to see the city. So I think our main purpose is to visit Barcelona, and just happen to see Massive Attack while we’re there.

Lots to anticipate and still a ton of stuff to listen to...
Soo one of my best friends is turning 30 this year in early June and has multiple celebration events planned for this week that she really wants me to be at...my likelihood of making this work has definitely gone down. And the travel plans with my sister that I was gonna try to incorporate into doing this are also looking less likely because of money stuff for her.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
