Whatever. Gonna see if I can get some food and find some stuff to do that isn't Pavement, because unless the park just empties out I have no desire to go back in that crowd. What a shitshow.
Even though that sounds quacked I am still jealous. Ended up selling my ticket to this Spanish Discord Stranger for 40 euros so I hope they have a banging time at my expense
Seriously concerned about the logistics of the fest but love the Crowd so damn much. Everyone throwing down but being patient af. Met so many cool people

I'm sure I'm just coming off as an entitled shit. I am having a lot of fun overall, just thought I was about to really get the party started (was holding off drinking til I got to the Tame pit). But I ran into Theo so we're chilling at Cupra. Sounds like the plan is catch a couple Fred Again songs and then head back over and see what it looks like, since Tristan sent a pic that it's not crowded.

Parked for DJ Shadow at Cupra. Easy to get an amazing spot at this fest if you show up early and wait. If you show up after the start you're pretty much fucked.
Tame and Pavement were amazing. The sound and light production is phenomenal at every stage I've seen. But the whole Plentitude pathway is a huge clusterfuck, there's no accessible water unless you pay and wait in an hour bar line, and yeah, there are too many people here.
Oh and Sharon was a great set as well, particularly once I moved closer away from everyone talking during their happy hour.

Im so glad I dont drink, but also this is horrendous. Like is this what everyone gets for paying a fraction of the cost the lineup is really worth? Staff an event properly, its totally not fair to all of you there rigtht now.

Oh man, hoffm83n came over and watched with me for awhile.
I thought Shadow burned shit down. Set of the day for me. Way better than I remember the other two times I've seen him. He could keep playing til 6 and I'd be a happy camper. Heading to Dijon next. If all these people are too, I'm bailing.
what a damn fun first day. Joey Bada$$ > Kacey Musgraves > Charli XCX > Tame Impala > Pavement > 1/2 of black midi > 10mins of Otoke Beaver
Each set was phenomenal, stage production top notch, crowds were amazing, so refreshing coming from the crowds at coachella and metallica day of boston calling. Food was also very good, had a delicious plant based burger at fest food near mordor. Also very much enjoyed the side by side main stages, had zero issues moving to each one, even was able to easily get a good spot for both Tame and Pavement.
As for the bad, the drink lines were horrendous, seened like there was enough staff hired nor were they properly trained. Water stations were also few and far between, forcing you to have to buy water at one of the crowded bar stations which somehow took less time than the stations. as piggy pablo said, it definitely seemed over crowded. I was unable to see the back from Tame but they apparantly had closed off the right entrance to the main, which made it nearly impossible for someone who wasnt already camping to get a good spot for Pavement. Hopefully crowds are more spread out tomorrow due to it being a lighter day with the smallest headliners
