For anyone going to Sitges I would recommend these two tapas bars. El Cable and Guria Taberna. Both top notch with some unique items in addition to more traditional options. For Seafood Mare Nostrum was great and was easy to walk in for lunch. A bit on the pricey side for Spain, but I had a fantastic Grilled Sea-bass there.
Our hotel canceled on us yesterday, and the cheapest I could find is over $1200 more! Looks like I’ll be on a budget the rest of this trip
That sucks I'm sorry. What was the reason? Seems like that's happened to a decent amount of people based on what I've read on Reddit and the Primavera FB group.
Something about the payment method being declined, despite being paid for since at least last fall. When contacted, they said the room had already be resold and there were no vacancies.
I found a room at a travelodge that I was able to use some points on. Still way more than I’d like, but at least I’m housed again.
And how does one prevent getting scammed by Airbnb or hotels?
hotels you p much have a guarantee i believe. got a very good deal at hcc taber on a single room for only 63 euros a night. have my own balcony too. should also mention though i booked this wayyyy back in late may 2021 when the lineup first came out

Hcc Taber is where I stayed for my first 3 nights and it was nice! My room was tiny, no balcony haha but the price was awesome and the blackout curtains were A+. I also booked all of my hotels like over a year ago as well.
