wow fuck yes what a huge relief. Literally flying out Monday at 6 AM

Excellent first day. Loved the Dice/Tous area, so nice dancing on the beach to Gilles and Talabot. Main stage felt like a massive mess, huge crowds for Khruangbin that I didn’t bother getting too close.

Watched a bit of the sunrise on the beach distancing from everyone this morning. Figured if it might be my last day at the fest, I might as well enjoy the beach. They kicked us out at 545, I think, so didn't get to see the actual Sun come up, but the sky and water looked nice in the dawn light.

This move is long overdue, but I do wonder if the amount of Americans currently in Barcelona and Europe played a factor in the timing. Like I'm running into Americans everywhere festival goers and just tourists.
Just go with a mask on and stay out of crowds if you feel fine imo. This thing is already a massive super spreader event lol
Yeah, I'm back and forth on that. You're right that a bunch of people already have it and it's definitely not going to spread as much as it will on the plane, which I'm absolutely getting on on Monday. I guess I'm more worried about transportation to and from the festival. And maybe I should rest. If I went I'd probably just see Lorde and the Strokes and then go home. Idk if I'd have a great time thinking about all this during the show, either.

Hope y'all dont feel to bad with the covid. No covid for me but all the cig smoke definitely triggering a really bad cold or sinus infection. Thankfully was able to get an inhaler and find meds from a pharmacy that would have required a prescription in the u.s.
