I saw 3 bear couples at this Blue Hawaii show and all I could think about was this. I’m probably going to wonder “is X just Y for bears?” at every show I go to for a long while now. I hope you’re happy.

Btw if you want people to approach you at Prima wear a Mastodon shirt. I had like four separate people come up to me to say "hey man cool shirt" and start a chat on Thursday. Unfortunately, they now probably all have COVID.

I used to have a shirt from this super awesome punk/noise band from from Australia that I wore. I kept getting tons of compliments and told Mrs. GL that “I HAVE FOUND MY PEOPLE”.
Then Phi posted a comment on Facebook that asked me about my Silverchair shirt.
a little annoyed that they closed the bridge to VIP after Black Coffee last night, but I still had a great time. I made it till sunrise! going in late today but the sky> fred again> Jessie Ware run is going to be very emotional for me. my plan is to make it though Megan and DJ seinfeld

the outfit I wore Thursday attracted drug dealers more than anything else, one guy came up to me selling MDMA and another came up selling Coke within an hour of each other
Just left Fred again.. and heading back to my hotel to get a good nights sleep tomorrow. Was awesome meeting yall! the most fun and intense festival experience ive ever had honestly. After this though i dont think i can do a two weekend fest anymore haha.
"As for the avalanche of criticism received by the organization, with crowds especially on the first day of the festival, those responsible have sung the mea culpa . "What happened on Thursday was frankly unexpected, with a massive influx of people very soon like never before, for which we apologize," admitted another of the directors, Alfonso Lanza, who referred to the controversy over the capacity limitation of the final concert of the Brunch On The Beach . Although the organization has reacted to criticism by scheduling two other farewell parties, Lanza has recalled that "it is not new that people cannot access the entire offer." But "we are no strangers to frustration."

lol
There’s another piece in the second article that basically blames Sant Adrià for the overcrowding. Which, I get, as the cut capacity on their side of the beach from 30k to 15k. It was still bad translation on PS part to say it was included in the ticket if they didn’t have space. Then to blame attendees for showing up on-time is just foul, imo.
Primavera Sound, which has confirmed the double edition in Barcelona and Madrid for the coming years, has completely discarded the two-weekend format in Barcelona for the future, and has not guaranteed the maintenance of the Primavera A La Ciutat as verified this year. "It has been a success and we are very happy, because we do not just aspire to mount concerts for 60,000 people, but since Barcelona will go before Madrid it may be easier for this format to fit better in Madrid," Ruiz said. At all times, he has reiterated that the will of Spring is to stay in Barcelona. "I'm from here, I work here and it's a city accustomed to facing challenges in organizing major events," he said
So basically they’re not sure if the Ciutat shows are in which city at this point.

Maybe with the ciutat location they should just do the thing they just did because they know they can do it and how it works and people's expectations will be set idk

It really sounds like their pissed over Barcelona not supporting the festival. Apparently, they’re getting sued by a few neighborhoods, as well.
This really felt like “We’ll do it but fuck with us again and we’re outta here” sort of thing.
I love Madrid, don’t get me wrong, but a big part of my love for PS is the location. I’ve never been to another that matches it’s beauty. If they ran to Madrid, I’d go a few times but it wouldn’t be the same.
weekend 2 was way more Gay. Like it felt like Pridefest today. Fantastic weekend and i'm so glad i'm here till Monday! I know last weekend I said I was done with Primavera, but I might be back in a few years.
