True, though some of it is predictable, especially since the organization already hinted who will be playing in the Auditoria and the Bits area.
Also, based on the lineup poster from last year, 4 out of the top 5 from each day were placed at the two main stages, with the other playing the Primavera stage. So I'm counting on FKA twigs, Suede, and Stereolab to play the latter.
Also it’s not a full day trip but it’s worth it to take a couple hours and hike up to the bunkers above Barcelona for sunset. Bring some wine and food and have a picnic with a really cool view of the city.
That's the place, it definitely draws some tourists but imo it was worth it to check out if you have a free evening.
Also in regards to crowds, I've seen plenty of great shows on the main stages at prima without any real issues. Honestly just seems like you might want to stay away from stuff like Arctic Monkeys that draws the lads on tour, but there really isn't anything like that this year anyway. I saw Skepta on one of the main stages a couple years ago and it was one of the funnest festival rap crowds I've been in. Vince Staples wasn't on a main stage last year but he also he an incredibly fun crowd. The crowd for spiritualized last year was nearly silent. I personally don't get bothered by other people at concerts very easily though so I might not have the best opinion on this.

I think Twigs goes on Ray Bans, Suede on Primavera and Stereolab could go either way.
Someone in my primavera group posted a clashfinder a while ago, I'll see if one of them can resend me the link.

That'd be awesome if you could share that, thanks!
Yeah, I don't think there will be that many lads on tour given the female-centric lineup, but I could still see many asshole hipsters show up at Solange/Rosalia/Tame Impala/Janelle/Robyn/FKA twigs who just want to take Instagram pics and shout-talk/scream to each other over the music (and subsequently act entitled and offended if you dare to confront them about it). Though I'm trying my best to not make that a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Got my plane ticket!!!! Denver > London for $236. Gonna do a day of APE for Chem bros, Hot Chip and Spiritualized and maybe see Eric Prydz HOLO, then jet over to Barcelona.
Yeah this is a pretty significant downgrade imo. I liked a few songs off that album with Wayne Coyne but Miley has never been my thing. Even if I find Cardi to be a bit run of the mill sounding she has a wild show that is a ton of fun. I also don’t really know what Miley’s show would be like because I can’t imagine any of the phases of her career blending all that well together
I'm really curious what kind of crowd is gonna turn up at Primavera this year and how well this thing is selling, with them leaning so much on pop (and rap) artists on top and if they'd be willing to return the following years cause the lads from UK sure as hell aren't gonna be to keen about Miley Cyrus, J Balvin or Future on top of this thing. I know they wanted a drastic change but if they really wanted to I'm sure they could've atleast booked a few big ones that are more in their kind of playfield or is Primavera just going full 'alternative' pop cause that's the direction we're ultimately heading towards see Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish etc.?
Apparently my dad was really excited to see Cardi B at this??
You're taking your dad to Primavera? Damn and I thought taking my dad to Coachella was wild
Yep, it was originally the two of us (we’ve done other fests before), but then two other family members are also joining. He is otherwise most excited to see Interpol, Kurt Vile, and Cupcakke.
