No because I don’t trust you. You’re a sht stirrer and happens to have a few friends in high places.
Not for nothing, but that's his whole point. I know a lot of people don't like launchy, but why talk shit if you know he could be right?
Launchpad has and always will be a glorified troll people only tolerate because every once in a WHILE he pops out something of value. Even when I was just a lurker here which I still mostly am tbh I knew this.

I wouldn't agree here. He and I have had several great convos about music in general or the festival landscape in general. He may have posted some stupid things (who hasn't) but he's no more of a troll than most here.

Yeah I don't know the guy, and I'm not likely to ever met anyone on this board, but there are far worse people here. It seems like piling on him is the 'cool' thing to do. Then again, I don't read most of the threads here. Yeah sometimes he comes off as over eager, but there are people that really seem jealous/bitter that he might know a person or 2. I've definitely seen him be helpful though, where there are plenty of the cool kids here that only shit on anything and everyone

Thanks guys, I think you both are pretty neat too. I try not to be a dick to anyone unless they are a dick to me first. I do post stupid things from time to time and tend to push my opinions pretty hard (I think everyone here does). I see differences of opinion as a good thing as long as they aren't personally harmful towards anyone else. Getting a different perspective can make you see things in an alternate way or strengthen your own point of view. But yeah for whatever reason usually the same group of people here go out of their way pile on me and have for years. Fuck em!

And FWIW I dont post fake or misleading info. I either speak up or I don't say anything at all. Sometimes things change I don't hear about it and get it wrong. But as of now Radiohead isnt playing this thing.
Anyway, back to the music. I can't wait to go back to this... The setup and the stages we're so fucking cool. I moved to Colorado this month and I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to go back for any of these. Golden voice is starting up a Denver fest this year, and if it's the same as pano I'll probably do that instead, but if not, I've already got the couch to sleep on and about 10 people I've already convinced to go based on my experience from just going Sunday this year. I'm thinking Meadows, which despite being in a shitty parking lot really seems to get the bookings right, and this. The only reason I did gov ball last year was tool TBH

Yeah, I went back and read through all the during-and-immediately-after-fest discussions about Pano on reddit, yesterday, and it was giving me, as the kids say, all the feels. So many awesome experiences all three days, including three top-notch headliners.
I know it's likely they'll make some sort of shift in order to try to move more tickets, since they haven't had good box office either of the first two years, but I really hope it doesn't change the character of the festival too drastically.

The fact that it wasn't just another generic fest on Randall's island was a huge part of the appeal. Every one of those stages was better than gov ball. The wrap around screens on the main made all the difference
If The Cure is active next year I felt Pano/FYF would have been most likely candidates. That being said I don't know how the allegations will effect Pano's crossover.
Robin Pecknold says Fleet Foxes will be playing NYC in July. I have a feeling it'll be here, especially with them likely in for Coachella. Hoping I'm wrong unless this decides to change weekends so it doesn't conflict with Newport

I'm guessing it'll be here since they already did 2 standalone shows in Prospect Park last year. Guessing they'll be 3rd or 4th on their day. Don't think they are big enough to co-headline.

Would be pretty shocked if Fleet Foxes were 4th on a day at Panorama especially when St. Vincent is being mocked as a sub headliner

easy answer it that St Vincent isn't subbing at this.

If Goldenvoice wants to keep this a niche festival that can't move tickets for the life of them then by all means make Fleet Foxes and St Vincent 2nd billed on their respective days.

I'd be happy if they kept it that way! If St Vincent, Fleet Foxes, The XX and Sylvan Esso are all in the mix, they're getting the 2nd/3rd go-around on each of their album cycles. Why not throw The Shins and The War On Drugs in the mix while we're at it?
