After several swings and misses on other fests, me and my buddy have decided to do summerdance. Anything a newbie to this fest should know? Any info would be much appreciated!
I was about to start a thread for this. I am committed to Summerdance again this year (did not do a festival this summer for the first time since 2010 and need to get my fix) but have held off in buying tickets. I was wearing a Lotus shirt in a Pittsburgh bar about a month or so ago and an employee told me that NLQP was having legal troubles and there was a chance this wasn't gonna happen. Now a lot of my normal crew might not be as committed as I am.
My girlfriend is willing to go with me but she is not a huge fan of Lotus and never really has done ant type of music festival before and I really do not want to force her to come up with me without any of normal Summerdance crew which includes some women in it as well. That being said I will be more than likely buying my tickets soon and look forward to 3 nights of LOTUS!
LoveLuckLaughter and 1karen1 you might not remember because Im not the most active poster but we met up at Summerdance 2014 on Friday night and had a really fun time. I would love to set something up again this year, you girls are great and I would love to have some social interaction with people I'm actually familiar with, especially if my normal group is a lot smaller than usual for this.
I really wish I could pull this off. With Peach, week off, Lockn, Summerdance there is no way I can go solo or with my festival crew and I doubt I can talk the family into this but I am going to try. Great lineup this year.

Alright folks. The VW is still in the shop, so Camp Kool Kids/Camp Kern/Camp Uncle Jimmy/Whoreshack is going to be out of the back of a Prius this year and a much smaller production. We are getting there Thursday night, and 1karen1 and beavdog151 are heading in Saturday afternoon. Will have the jellyfish in tow and an Uncle Jimmy (from S-Town) "Fuck it!" totem, so look for us on the dance floor.
