Gorillaz is pretty much out, they're playing Boomtown (UK) which takes place from 9-12 August. (Okay yeah, planes do exist.. But it makes them really unlikely)

Would Queens really play Chicago 3 times in a calendar year on the same album cycle? I saw them at Riot and then 2 weeks ago at the Aragon with RTJ and as great as they are, it'd be weird to see them at Lolla now.

Noel Gallagher getting a “make up” set next year will be funny
Liam brought it proper at the Riv last month. Awesome setlist. I'd def still see Noel too if he dropped by Lolla, but I don't have much urge to see him at his own show.

I didn’t buy tickets to Liam’s DC show because I was seeing him at Lolla, and I didn’t buy tickets to his aftershow at Lolla because he was one of the only things I wanted to see on his day. So after he walked off at Lolla I was very close to buying aftermarket tickets in DC, but then he cancelled that show too.

lol god damn. I just don't think he cares much for the US shows. The crowds are bullshit compared to what he sees overseas but it still sucks to know that if you want to see him you don't know what you're gonna get.

I like to imagine it had something to do with the DC promoter booking his brother at a venue twice the size (that didn’t exist when the Liam show was announced) but he may have really been sick
You could tell his voice was hurtin him at the Chicago show but he just fought through it. Sounded fine. When I saw him cancel the rest of the shows after that I wasn't that surprised tbh. Still sucks tho. All that being said, as someone who never got to see Oasis, It was badass seeing those songs live. His voice, even in it's current state, is iconic to me.
