Keeping in mind that take a lot of medication on a regular basis (meaning cut me a little slack)I'm convinced that when I nearly died in November I didn't just kill offsome brain bits, I simply went the long way to bring out my superpower. Precognition. All of my dreams have been odd post stroke but they've been distinctive enough to recognize elements in daily life I've had a few Bonnaroo dreams lately but each time they're fairly similar The first one was exciting because instead of being shackled to my cane or in a wheelchair that isn't meant for unpaved roads I was able to get from show to show pushing my wheelchair as a sort of walker, not graceful but much easier to walk that way than with a cane. In that particular dream we were seeing Mumford and Sons or the Lumineers, or some similar sounding band. Either way, I woke up super excited to be back at roo, even if slightly disabled. A few nights ago I had another dream, my friend and I were headed into the pit to see AC/DC. Which was at first exciting. But then they proceeded to play only one song on repeat their entire set (Dirty Deeds done dirt cheap) over and over and over. It was actually pretty funny. The one I had last night was definitely the same atmosphere, My friend and I forgot our schedule at camp which caused us to miss Joan Jett. But then we wandered over to the Sonic Stage and saw Lana del Rey. And the portos were heinous by day one. It was a weird dream. They've all added fuel to the fire over my excitement to get back to roo this year finally. And I've just graduated from wonky cane walking to stable walking behind a granny walker. Which is the last step before being able to get around unassisted. I don't have the stamina yet to walk as much as roo requires but I'm getting closer.
So yeah, 2018 means AC/DC Lana del Rey and Joan Jett and nasty A** Portos. Also, I may be magic. No pitchforks and torches if I'm right.
