nugs.tv is going to live stream the Phil Lesh and Stu Allen "Thunder and Lightning" show tonight from Terrapin Crossroads.
Tonight (Tuesday, May 22), bassist Phil Lesh and guitarist Stu Allen will present their latest “Thunder & Lightning” concert at Terrapin Crossroads’ Grate Room in San Rafael, California. If you can’t make it to Terrapin Crossroads for the sold-out show in person, there’s an option to watch from home or wherever you have an internet connection.
nugs.tv will host a webcast of this evening’s Thunder & Lighting performance live from Terrapin Crossroads. The livestream can be viewed on nugs.tv and YouTube free-of-charge. Phil and Stu will be joined by guitarist Scott Metzger (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, WOLF!), multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby (The Terrapin Family Band) and drummer Jay Lane (Primus, RatDog) on Tuesday night. The webcast is expected to start at 8 p.m. PT and is the first from Terrapin Crossroads to air on nugs.tv.
I'll be out of town this weekend, but California Roots Festival will be free streamed all weekend. I don't have the schedule, but judging by the band times on livelist, they have:
Not every act will be make the livestream. But The Killers, Muse, The Head and the Heart, Thievery Corporation, Phantogram, The Revivalists, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Mike D – DJ set, SOJA, Shakey Graves, Lake Street Dive, Mondo Cozmo, MISSIO, LANY, Manchester Orchestra, The Record Company, Alice Merton and RIVVRS are among the acts that will be, according to a BottleRock email.
No schedule yet or how many channels they're running. They show Muse, alt-J, Nile Rodgers & Chic, LANY, Moon Taxi and many more. If/when they release the schedule, I'll post it.
Also Phil Lesh and Friends (Dead Blues Live) from Terrapin Crossroads is on tonight. I saw a bit of last night’s after Muse ended, and it was kickass. 10:00 CDT and is free

Free webcast of Dave Matthews band from Camden on nugs/YouTube. I'm mostly interested in seeing how they replace Boyd in the songs. So far one sweet world he was sorely missed; the trumpet player filled in amiably on Crush. The new songs suck so who cares there.
Gorillaz - Sunday 2:00pm CDT from Boiler Room Tokyo. Experience Gorillaz brand new album The Now Now performed live for the first time and shown here with a unique combination of atmospheric visuals taken from their stage show.
Thursday 8:00pm CDT - Wild Child from ACL Live (Moody's)
Friday 8:00pm CDT - Anderson East from ACL Live (Moody's)
Festivals
Van's Warped Tour will be online tomorrow beginning at 2:00pm Central. No list of acts or schedule yet for the stream, but I'll keep digging. www.livelist.com/shows/vans-warped-tour-webcast
Rock in Rio from Lisbon, Portugal is on Saturday and Sunday on LiveXLive app and at livexlive.com. Lots of big names, but no schedule yet except that the stream is on Saturday at 2:00pm
Secret Solstice - I don't know much about this except it's in Reykjavik. Be-at.tv will be streaming the dance music "Hel Stage" starting tomorrow through Sunday. It starts each day at 1:00pm. The Hel Stage Acts:
(Including takeovers by Circoloco, Anjunadeep, The Warehouse Project and SCI+TEC)
Some for sure names, Matt Tolfrey, Droog, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves, Lee Burridge (Pool Party), YokoO (Pool Party) ------------------------------------------
Bullet for My Valentine just came on Hellfest. They still never put out a broadcast schedule I can find. It’s available at Hellfest Live (scroll down a bit) at arte.tv at
Plyemo Bullet for My Valentine 1:00 CDT Body Count (about to come on*) 2:05 Memoriem 2:50 Children of Bodom 4:30 Avenged Sevenfold 5:05 Parkway Drive
* badass cover of That’s the sound of the police. Wild crowd. Brought out Sen Dog and Billy from Biohazard for Cop Killers
Edit 2 - Parkway Drive was the show of the day with all the flames throughout the stage and the drummer on that spinning mechanized wheel. I’d see them anytime.
Looks like Gorillaz coming up in 2 hours is here. It says request invite but I think it will be free without an invite required. Idk for sure but we will find out soon. boilerroom.tv/session/gorillaz
Today on Hellfest so far since I woke up (missed Killswitch Engage) has been Exhorder from New Orleans. I knew some of those guys from back in the punk days of the early-mid 80s. They taught metal heads how to mosh. Hahaha. Then was Arch Enemy from Sweeden. The rest of today’s schedule CDT is
12:20 - Amorphis 01:25 - Alice In Chains 02:30 - At The Gates 03:35 - The Hellacopters 05:00 - Exodus 06:05 - Turbonegro
The Hellacopters are a pretty great Swedish rock band. I should probably have know about them. Exodus is old school CA thrash, and Turbonegro is a Norwegian metal/punk band from back when too. Cool ass hard rock day so far. What I could catch of AIC before I had to go to Gorillaz was great too. Lazy rocking Sunday for me so far.
10:25 - Walter Schnitzelsson 11:55 - Belga (Telekom Main Stage) 11:55 - Skyline (Bank Petrofi Radio Main Stage) 01:55 - Depeche Mode 03:55 - Vad Fruttik
Stream will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. I'll try to get the schedule each day if I can find it.
08:25am - Deniz 09:55am - Mary Popkids 09:55am - Apey & The Pea 11:55am - Kowalsy Meg A Vega 01:40pm - Kiscsillag 01:55pm - AKOS 03:25pm - Cloud 9+ 05:10pm - Redfoo & The Party Rock Crew
Bela Fleck & The Flecktones bring 30th Anniversary Tour to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester on Relix for free. They are expected to take the stage at 7:15pm CDT (Bela Fleck, Futureman, Victor Wooten, Howard Levy). Go to the Relix YouTube channel to watch. -------------------------------
Today - Tidal x Yo Gotti - Tidal shows are usually free on their app or website. This is tonight at 8:00pm CDT. -------------------------------
Tomorrow - The Killers, the Chemical Brothers, James, Xutos & Pontapes on Rock in Rio Lisboa on LiveXLive -------------------------------
Today - Volt Festival (Central Time)
7:30am - Cloud 9+ 8:25am - USEME 9:25am - The Raven Age 9:55am - Ganxsta Zolee Es A Kartel 10:55am- Skillet 11:25am- Junkies 1:10pm - 30Y 3:00pm - WELLHELLO 4:55pm - GUMBY
Not bad. They’re Hungarian and the crowd knows it. Soul and horn hip hop or so?
also, Chemical Brothers are on at 7:30 from Rock in Rio on LiveXLive all and dot com. People are always talking about em and they pop up on lots of people’s wishlists. So I might check that out in an hour 40. Nvm, they’re on now. I like the breakbeat stuff and the spacier tunes if not as much the repetitive and disco-y parts. Production is big and something I’d want to see.
2) Friday July 6 (and probably all weekend) Montreux Jazz Festival Day 1 on LiveXLive starting tomorrow at 12:00pm Central Time. Since it's LiveXLive you can watch on their website directly or via their application. No schedule yet, but I'll post once I can find it.
