Fresh off another bender and in need of a steady cash flow, Harvey Birdman (Hubel) reaches out to Moltar (Aukerman) to revive Space Ghost Coast to Coast while re-boots and talk shows are hot. President of HBO Programming Casey Bloys was the only executive to return Moltar’s call. He shared Birdman and Moltar’s thoughts on the nostalgia angle, and since “[John] Oliver refuses to do more than one f**king show a week” a contract was signed for a weekday talk show. Space Ghost (Hamm) retired and living in Barbados agrees on the condition that HBO pays him more than Bill Maher. Zorak (Aldon) looking for a bigger pay day himself relinquishes band leader duties for the title of head writer, while maintaining his on-camera side kick persona. HBO, going all in with the nostalgia, hires retired ThunderCat Lion-O (Thundercat) to lead the house band. Moltar reaches out to Brak (Andre) to give him an “executive producer” credit fearing he may retaliate for being left out, but how long until he finds out his title is meaningless? All the while, the scorned Black Widow (Fonda) is still in love with Space Ghost and feeling betrayed by fellow Council of Doom members Zorak and Brak. Joining forces with Metallus (McKellen) the two villains head for HBO headquarters.
