"There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone."
- Rod Serling
After two snoozers, Inforoo has a real decision to make in the third match-up. I predict the losing year will get at least four votes. This will be brother against brother, poster against poster, like that time Captain America fought Iron Man. Maybe Spider-Man will show up. I think that's what happened, but I only saw the trailer. Anyway, the choices are..
This is easily the hardest matchup so far and will probably be one of the hardest of the entire tournament for me. 2007 was my first year but 2008 was something really special for me
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

2008 was the first year I really wanted to go to Bonnaroo. Kanye, Allman’s, and Levon on the lineup were calling me. I ended up sticking with ACL as my one fest every year, even though that lineup was kind of a let down. Only fest decision I regret more is not making it out to Rothbury in ‘09. The ‘07 Roo lineup is nice and all, but 2008 gets my vote.

So first round was open for a month and then the second matchup for 2 days?
In regards to this matchup definitely think it should be closer. I'm guessing it may be your 8-9 matchup though I would seed them more like a 10 & 11. At a glance it's easier to choose 2008 for headliners but lets not forget 2007 was Led Zeppelin SuperJam year and White Stripes final tour so that's the one I'm voting for.
They used to give everyone plenty of time to make it over to the headliners. I noticed with these older Bonnaroo schedules there are giant gaps in music before and after the headliner plays.
My vote goes to ‘07. It was my first ‘Roo and I may have mostly gone to see The Police, my mind was blown with so many other bands that I got to see. It was a whole new experience fer a music lover like me. And campin’ with some of my best friends fer a weekend was great too!
When we came back the next year we partied too hard and too fast. I don’t remember much of Friday or Saturday. We still had a good time, but it wasn’t until the next year that I learned to handle my partyin’ better.
