Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Went last year for the first time (and clearly last) because we thought the lineup was great. Festival had so much potential but the execution was so poor last year and the time of year was awful for it.
2nd year for SandJam. 3-day fest in Panama City, FL, April 26-28, HLers Kings of Leon, Third Eye Blind, and Young the Giant. Posted full lineup on 24DEC. sandjamfest.com/
spreadsheet is updated. there are a few festivals that i'm not sure of who to list as headliners based on the posters (i.e. movement, primavera, etc.), so if anyone has suggestions for situations like that, let me know.
Bump for beginning of March. As always, if anyone has info about when announcements are coming, missed lineup drops or decent sized festivals that are not listed let me know.
Float Fest in San Marcos, Texas, had a pretty solid lineup in 2018 (July) for an attendance cap of 15k. That lineup dropped in April and dates have been confirmed for 2019, so it should be coming next month.
Think that about does it for 2019 fests. Been a pretty interesting 5 months for announcements but now the real fun will happen as all these fests actually take place. November should come quickly enough and with it will be the start of 2020 announcements. Have a great time out there everyone!

The lineups we have so far have dropped about a month earlier than they did last year so I'm getting an early start doing this once again. Anyone think there is a chance one of the big fests that usually announce in January gets their info out before Christmas this year?
Also I always welcome help for lineups I miss getting announced or suggestions if there is a festival that is resonably popular on inforoo but isn't included in the original post. Thanks and lets hope 2020 is a good year for everyone!
I doubt it. I mean Primavera used to start announcing acts in november, but they stopped doing ''phases'' and just dropped it all in january. The butt rock fests announcing metallica how they did was to ensure they were going to get strong initial sales and maybe sell out in advance with the rest of the line up being icing on the cake. Stagecoach is announcing tomorrow it seems with the hints theyve given out the last couple days.

Primavera dropped it in early December last year, late January the year before and November the year before that. Don't really see a pattern there.

Coachella has a clause for several acts that they can't announce other festival appearances until after the Coachella lineup drops so unless their lineup is released earlier, don't think it'll happen.
So we'll probably be getting lineups for Coachella, Bonnaroo, Primavera, Governor's Ball, Boston Calling, Firefly, and Bottle Rock in the next two weeks. Anything else?
Going to get this going again for 2021 using the 2019 list since last year was nothing to go by. Obviously the dates will hold very little relevance for when things might get announced but should still paint some kind of picture for how much/little happens in this transitional year.

I'm not sure if this will be terribly relevant with a bunch of festivals shifting dates in 2021 as well but I guess it's better to collect the info and not be able to use it than the other.
Yeah...I dont expect even ones that have initial lineups to happen but more maintain this as reference to who moved, who canceled and who still hasnt said anything since I find it hard to keep straight in my head with so much weirdness and so little information.
Not a lot of changes in February and March but made another pass through the list and updated some events in OP. Hopefully will have several more lineups to add by the end of April for fests happening in the fall!

After a huge week of lineup announcements seems a good time to give this a bump. As ever if any additional info is known on status of the fests listed please do share.

Historically Coachella sets off a flurry of announcements around New Years Day so going to get this started for 2022. I'm using the 2019 list as a template again since that still seems best starting point though I'm sure there will be a bunch of defunct fests included. Just put a post on this thread and I will get things cleaned up before replacing OP in a couple weeks.

I feel like I read that Moogfest is dunzo and being replaced by Slingshot festival from Athens (on a much smaller scale). I’ll try and find that article.
E: It seems the article I read on Slingshot was edited. I’m guessing Moogfest is still on the table.

Those are announce dates from 2019 just as a placeholder, not meant to be precisely predictive. Once a lineup gets announced I correct the date and boldface it. Main usefulness of thread is to keep track of which festivals have announced already and which remain/are overdue/might be coming soon.
