This is a list of festivals in the order they were announced in 2019 since that still seems best starting point though I'm sure there will be a some defunct fests included.
The ones in bold have already had an initial announcement for this year and date was changed to reflect when that announcement occurred.
If you know a fest has announced (or won't be for any reason) just put a post on this thread and I will get things cleaned up.

Thanks and updated. I don't necessarily stay on top off all of these so any other tips/corrections are appreciated.
McDowell Mountain Festival has released their lineup: m3ffest.com/ The National are starting a festival in their hometown: Homecoming Festival - Cincinnati, OH - April 28-29, 2018 ntlhomecoming.com/ Free Press Summer Fest changed their name to In-Bloom. It's in Houston,TX - Mar 24-25, 2018 - Lineup out now: www.inbloomfestival.com/ New fest in Panama City, FL called SandJam Fest, April 26-28: www.facebook.com/SandJamFest Carolina Rebellion - May 4 – May 6, 2018 in Charlotte, NC - Lineup is out: carolinarebellion.com/lineup.html
Not trying to make this exclusively a southeastern regional list but don't see much chatter about McDowell, possibly because it is in Arizona and not many board members are from that area. I did add Homecoming fest and correct Free Press Summer with new name. I will wait on SandJam to see what kind of lineup they put together before adding it and I believe Carolina Rebellion is put on by company that does about a half dozen other metal fests as well including Rock on the Range and Louder than Life. Because these are pretty niche and there are so many with lots of overlapping in lineups I feel it could be redundant to include them all. I did put Rock on the Range on since know that one is quite popular and have seen discussions about it on here before. Thanks for all the great tips and please keep them coming!

End of January bump. Crazy to think we've already got over half of the lineups announced already and so many of those came in January alone. (30+ announced so far, 16 in January alone; at least 25 more yet to happen over next 6-8 months)

Going to continue using this same thread for the 2019 festival checklist so if anyone has any info about festivals I should include in OP, lineup drop dates, or ones that won't be having a 2019 edition please pass it along and I will make corrections as necessary.
Also, beebee please let me know if you intend to update/create a spreadsheet once again so I can link that in once again.

i can do it again if you guys want. it's not worth the work if no one actually uses it.

I'd find it super useful! But don't want to impose on your time either
cool, i'll try to work on it when i get a chance. i'll post a link here when i get to it. edit: in the mean time, if you guys have any announcement dates, etc. post them in here and i'll add them to the list.
here you go. deleting the day for night row hurt my heart. let me know if i'm missing anything. feel free to update in here when things are announced so i can add them. 2019 Festival Lineups Checklist
Thanks for the effort on the spreadsheet - it's a very useful tool. VooDoo changed their 2019 dates after their initial annouce. The dates are now October 25,26,27.

I’ve been hoping they’d have different weekends with Hulaween. I finally might get a chance to do both. ACL, Voodoo and Hula within 30 days would be awesome.
