I changed the rules of 109 (Mafia 109 post #1) after the game was over so it'd be easier to cut and paste next time I ref and cut/paste myself. Are you talking about something else?
Yes and No. I saw the change as referenced, but I also know you put on your costume prior to roles being emailed. Was interested in why you changed the rules especially in light of your citing them the next game. Seemed relevant to me.
Players were formerly linked in the opening post from the ref, so even I was caught off guard when you pointed out rule 3 to Dan. Obviously this has changed at some point since I last played and that's all well and good, but to jump on him for it, especially after you had changed the rules last game would stand out even later in a game to me.
So. I changed the rules of 109 after the game was over because Zolah pointed out last night that I used the wrong ones. I sometimes copy/paste my own rules from last time I reffed, so to future proof my next ref game, I updated. I used Rule 3 as a stupid reason to vote on page 1 of this game because I found it humorous. I've lived and died because of stupid page 1 votes in the past. I'm not about to stop now.
There were a couple rules that were officially added or re-added in mafia 101. I noticed they weren't on JR's game 109 so I did tell him to edit them because I thought LD would copy and paste and they'd be missing from here too. If you go back to mafia 108, you'll notice rules 15-17 are missing.

I mean, I stopped talking about that last night. You and JR keep bringing it up. I am more interested in why he voted prior to the names being linked in Mafia 105 (second vote there too) but 5 games later, treats it like a mortal crime. He was a townie in that game. Maybe it was a more carefree time in his life, or maybe it is something more...

Check yourself. JR kept bringing it back up. I mentioned it once to clarify this morning why it was edited.

Don't need to check. I know you only brought it up this morning. But WHY did you bring it up at all? I mean, I know you have many conversations at home, but the only converation between players that should be occurring about the game outside the thread is the mafia conversation.
That means either
1 - You are a regular Bonnie and Clyde with your sidekick still to be found
2 - Scofflaws breaking a much bigger rule than #3
Happily, you are both in the runoff atm, so I will abide by the rule of thumb and keep the bigger switching sticks in the rack until the runoff.

Not sure what you're trying to spin here... I brought it up after 109 was over and before 110 started. Yeah. We cheat. You see how dead on I was last game. And I had to kill JR in mafia 100 because kdogg was cheating in PMs and JR brought it to the refs. Come at me for something real. Rule breaking isn't one of them.

And by check yourself, I meant put yourself in check. You said JR and I keep bringing it up, which was a lie on me anyway. I did one time.
And why did I bring it up at all? Because I'm a part of this game too. I frequently post a lot. Get used to it.

I seem to have struck a nerve. Firstly, it was not a lie. You are the only one outside the 3 involved parties to reference it, and seemingly the most sensitive to it. Secondly, it is called a verbal trip; a phrase specifically design to elicit a response from a predetermined set in order to provide an indication of role. Third, please keep posting. I do find it quite quite illuminating. You would not be the first mafia woman to die in self righteous fury.
And finally, relates to your other post, if you are not rule breaking, then logically, it is option 1 and you are both mafia. So how about I "come at you" for That?

I cleared up something that had my name involved, so yeah, I referenced it. You can come at me for "being mafia" about it, but you're wrong. You're making mountains out of molehills on day 1 round 1 and it's only going to hurt the town.

This is pretty much what he does. It can be annoying but it can be helpful as well. You'll get used to it.
Why stack Dan up to three instead of putting someone else in the runoff?
Probably "generating conversation" or some such. Or he didn't read the tally before voting.
Why are you answering for him? I can hypothesize about why other players do things also, but it's considerably more helpful to hear reasoning from the source, don't ya think?
Vote history: 1. Viking > Jaz 2. JR > Dan 3. Zolah > Zig 4. Dan > JR 5. Viking > Jaz > JR 6. Pablo > Potent 7. Jaz > Viking 8. Maddog > Zolah 9. Potent > Maddog 10. Zig > Zolah 11. Tainted > Danbob 12. Thor > Viking
Left to vote: None
Ref's Notes: - This round ends at Noon EST on Saturday Dec. 23rd
- I was under the impression that Danbob's jumping the gun on voting wasn't such a big deal. Did I miss that in M105? Yeah. But then again, (1) I sent half of the role PMs out an hour before the rest, and (2) was on the other side of the country for half of the game anyway - so I wasn't fully paying attention. You can't really use what happened in M105 to what's in this game.

I'm literally talking shit on the guy in anticipation of his response, not answering for him.

You didn't really clear anything up. You inserted yourself in a conversation that had nothing to do with you, then told me to "check" myself which I am taking to mean stop asking questions. Correct me if I am wrong there but if true, why should I stop? You got aggressively defensive over a very small thing instead of trying to promote understanding.
IMO, that is much more of a mafia move than town since townies are operating in a knowledge void. There will be misunderstandings and incorrect assumptions as we try to figure it out. You were not adding to our discussion, just attacking and shutting down lines of questioning. If you have nothing to hide, why did you insert yourself and why try to shut questions down?
Danbob = not really a cheater (as far as I know) Zolah = not a cheater JR = not a cheater
One person cheated and I slammed him so hard he quit Inforoo all together.
Kdogg was a serial cheater. You accused Danbob of cheating either in jest or not, but did the same thing as him in mafia 105 and were a townie. They are just small breadcrumbs that add up to finding a rat.
And again, if you were not cheating by talking at home, then LOGICALLY you are mafia together. You can understand how Zolah jumping to your defense looks bad especially if you claim not to be a cheater, no?
I don't think that what he did was so egregious that he needs to be insta-lynched, fine with him staying in the runoff. dan votes first as mafia and all.
