If you're mafia, and you can't whack given town, you are left with the options of someone who's likely to believe you down the line or someone you can frame. Neither are good options for mafia. As much as we need numbers they need cover.

I appreciate you trying to shake it up. But I want to take the full clip of strikes to battle. I think we are close to a win and would rather try and kill the mafia instead.

There's 122 post difference between the two choices I have so I didn't really bother re reading it. It's possible they're both mafia. Viking moved on/off Jaz early, Potent had a chance to vote Jaz or Viking and voted for the inspector instead. But a good amount of potents posts are nothing. Viking's feels like spin, but it also reads like ZIG, there's a good chance he's way off and that's why he's still alive.
that said, it's more likely that viking will put his foot in his mouth going forward, so...
also feel like this jives with Zolah and Thor, who while not very cleared in my book, they're both removed enough from the ZIG/Viking situation that it's as close to a second opinion I'm going to get.

If Maddog somehow ends up being Town, his “plan” to vote off the one confirmed townie might supplant LD’s legendary “fake reveal as a townie” move as most ridiculous townie idea ever. Otherwise, it just looks like a desperation Mafia move. I don’t know how any player could try to sell that plan with a straight face.

I wouldn’t put it as high as faking as a townie but it certainly wasn’t a great idea and makes me think he has evil motives. If he does end up being town we can have a discussion of the merits of the idea post game (I don’t agree with it at all).
I would rather have the pool of possible mafia thinned at the cost of my own credibility than stand on a soap box and tell everyone how right I am when it's clear I don't have all the information.
