As for Viking I agree he could tone it down a bit with the insults.
I always laugh when I see this. I rarely go for the cheat shot, am constantly attacked and insulted all game, but the few I throw in hurt so much that people think I just hurl insults.
There is a vast chasm between insulting someone and interrogating. I choose the road less traveled.

I think Dan is a very, very good player in Mafia. He proved himself as a good Townie in this game, (and probably others) and, while I went hard after him as Mafia in one game, he had the rest of you all fooled and won the shit out of that game.
No one needs to talk shit on anyone else's play, as far as I'm concerned, especially between games. None of you are that good. Neither am I. And neither are SFA and LLL.

In general this is a hard game to be good at. Dan did play well last game, but before the reveal he was also actively defending Mafia-me. It's incredibly rare for any player to have things actually figured out without concrete information. Some players do have pretty good intuition, though I'm certainly not one of them. The last game I was town I was just making a list of people who I automatically find suspicious regardless of game...and it was pretty much everyone. I overthink a lot in this game too. I tend to think Maddog's pretty decent as a townie when it comes to intuition, though his logic isn't always sound. Everyone has their strengths and faults.
If I play here is what will happen: I am relatively quiet day 1 due to not having any time to dedicate. Day 2 some putz will get people to turn towards me only because I'm quiet. The rest of day 2 is me going after them for it, them coming back harder and we end up as 2 townies in the day 2 runoff. Not what I want to go down when I make a return
I'm also pretty sure we've given you leeway in several games. Not that it always lasted.

Some folks are better at it than others. We used to argue constantly in our first few games together. But one of the more frustrating things about this game is also one of the most human. It's hard not to let history effect your judgement when there's little info to go on.

If the difference in a game starting or not is me I'll try to have a proper go but otherwise I'd prefer to wait till timing is better
It did but partly because there was so much shit flinging going on elsewhere. I meant it sometimes worked for the town after the "quite Carini is mafia" stuff.
