I was watching that CNN special "The Seventies" last night and the episode about music did a bit about Chic, that at least I thought was interesting. They wrote "Freak Out" as a response to not being let in to Studio 54, and the original lyric was "fuck off" instead of "freak out".
I'm sooo excited about this show! I hope they get a late night slot similar to EWF in 2015.
