Not hating on the Terps at all by saying this, but if you're looking for a consistently .400 - .600 team that occasionally plays footsie with 8 or 9 wins, Jones is your man.

I don't think the University of Maryland has any illusions about being good at football.
Michigan is returning all but one player on defense and should be able to improve the offense somewhat by fielding (at worst) a replacement level QB next year, so I think 9 wins is the real benchmark.
Not to rain on your victory parade, but Florida and Kentucky were very overrated.
Kentucky is, for sure. I hope they can keep winning (they really should win out), but it's unfortunate that everything about the team has come together aside from quarterback. If they had a decent QB, they'd be a real threat.
They've had an easy schedule overall, and they'll probably make too good of a bowl game against Penn St or some shit and get destroyed in it.
I feel like conventional wisdom at this point is that all the games being played are just biding time until Bama and Clemson meet in the national championship. Obviously, it's not a lock by any means as both would be hurt significantly by a quarterback injury, but I don't think any other team has shown to be quite on either of their levels.

Yea I don't think either team is going to lose and they'll stay 1 and 2. I'm just seeing all this talk about Bama, like it's not even possible for them to lose. Clemson already beat one of their unbeatable teams in 16. Right now I think this is best team Clemson has ever had. Not just because they're destroying everyone and breaking records left and right. They're playing so many players, even early in games. Tight games and blowouts. This is team is so deep. Bama is an incredible team too. I'm just hoping neither of them slip up and don't make it.
Lmao Clemson ate a big plate of cupcakes. Don’t be so proud. Remind me what big wins they’ve had this year? I mean they almost lost to Syracuse...
Still three more weeks.
How bout them DAWGS??
Yea, name me all the great teams Bama or Georgia beat. SEC has plenty of cupcakes. Arkansas, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Vandy, SC, Missouri. Even a few of the "good teams" struggle offensively Florida, LSU, Miss St, Auburn, Kentucky. It's not the gauntlet it's made out to be.
