Yeah, I agree that the fan superjam camp is pretty cool, hoping they allow those who aren't camping there to go check it out though. Could come across some pretty cool stuff.

as i understand it you can attend the Fan SuperJam™ Themed Community Camp if you aren't camping, but you are required to pay the Pedestrian Camping Access Fee of $39.75 (plus fees) which is designed to encourage carpooling or keep environment green or something. also you cannot bring water or other beverages into the Fan SuperJam™ Themed Community Camp. Water and other beverages will be available to purchase within.

What a deal! What's the fee on the fee? Does that include Live Nation fees? I'm going to work out a payment plan with Live Nation to just keep siphoning them money each month for all these fees, kinda like a 401k, but where the K stands for fuck you

When are festivals gonna learn that restricting access to water is not cool? Hopefully it doesn't require a heat related death and subsequent lawsuit.
The restriction on water is part of Bonnaroo's efforts to provide a safe and healthy environment for all Bonnaroovians. It is impossible to know what you are really drinking when you drink outside water. Do not buy water from unlicensed vendors. There is lots of great and safe water to buy from official Bonnaroo vendors, who deserve your business, not least because they have made a real commitment to support Bonnaroo. Additionally if you "see something, say something": if you see someone drinking potentially unsafe outside water, look for a member of Bonnaroo's safety team and clue them in.

Holy shit. This really is a thing? What dumbass buys this?
I thought it was a felony in the US to collect our own rain water? Those systems they are selling are (I'm pretty sure) illegal, and thusly unnnMerican
Yeah I'm pretty sure it was. Maybe it got deleted? Or maybe I'm going crazy. I just remember seeing "final" artist additions which struck me as weird. But I guess it's nothing for right now.
So I'm definitely an idiot. I just saw a Facebook advertisement for Buku festival that said "final artist additions January 17th" so I'm pretty sure that's what it was.

I sense the sarcasm, but a sweaty festival held outdoors in TN in the summer should unequivocally and explicitly encourage hydration at all times. You'd think they'd understand that proper use of something as simple as water could cut the Saturday and Sunday population of the med tent in half, but it seems like they don't care.
I'll keep on sneaking in my pond, canal, and swamp water until they pry it from my hot, sweaty hands. Intestinal parasites never hurt nobody, and we don't need their silly "safe" water. (We'll save the joke about all the little plastic huts dispersed throughout the site offering free blue water and napkin rolls.)

They're clearly just trying to keep the drugs to a minimum. I'm sure there's a water station that you can fill bottles at just like everywhere else in Roo. Even though I'm pretty sure it is actual swamp water.
So. This inforoo brunch I've heard about. When and where is it?

There was an Inforoo Brunch option when you purchased your tickets. You may still be able to purchase a pass separately, though. They give you a refillable cup and directions to the meet up when you get to the festival.

Well at least that ends my concern of DMB being added
Modest Mouse would be huge, but I feel like they don't fit on this lineup. Not saying they won't
That's such an odd statement. If there is one festival where anyone could be on the lineup, its Bonnaroo.
Yeah, I don't disagree. That's why I said they could/would be added anyway. I just mean like out of the acts that are there, and the people that are excited for them, Modest Mouse probably wouldn't move the needle much for those people. If that makes any sense

One good thing about this lineup is that it rekindled my love of Broken Social Scene. I listened to You Forgot It In People and the S/T for maybe the first time in 10 years, and it reminded me how much I adored this band from ‘03-‘05.

The new one's pretty good too! Nothing'll top You Forgot it in People but they're a pretty consistent band.
