can anyone recall when various tiers sold out in the past? my memory is telling me it always hit the final tier of pricing pretty quickly, surprised it hasn't hit that yet. of course the amount of tickets in various tiers could have changed, so maybe it's a moot point.

Well, the past couple of years it definitely hasn’t lol. Also, they changed it to 5 tiers this year. So, the second to last tier still hasn’t been reached.

Pretty bummed that Jessie Reyez got moved to Saturday. Was looking forward to a night tent set from her on Thursday, but now I’m gonna go ahead and assume that she’ll end up conflicting with someone higher on my list.

Has anyone here seen Eminem live since the 2011 Roo show?
I saw him at Music Midtown 2014. I was up close too. But besides the fact I saw Eminem with my own eyes...it wasn't very memorable. From what I can tell it was a very similar show to Roo 2011. I'm hoping he changes it up a lot once he does Coachella. If not I won't have a problem missing him for Bon Iver or Brockhampton late night.

Was it similar to the below? Seems like he has an extensive band, is not overusing backing vocals, half of the setlist is strong. I'm curious to know if his reputation on this board is exaggerated.

the more recent setlists look like a good list to me. never seen him or any of that. i'm in the excited to see him but prepared for the worst group. going to be fun to see somebody you've listened to since they started (until they weren't good)

It was very similar. He might have used more backing track when I saw him but it was honestly pretty hard to tell. But if his show is still a lot like his Reading concert I'd be dissapointed.

When I saw him it was almost identical to this. Yeah, the board definitely exaggerates with his live show. Solid mix in the setlist, good live band, and not a lot of backing tracks. The main issue for me is that he's been putting on the same exact show for 7 years. He desperately needs to switch it up. Like someone already said, I'm looking forward to watching his Coachella live stream, just to determine if I need to stress about catching it all on the farm.

It was pretty much the exact same show, but I'd see it again as long as he doesn't put too much Revival in it.

NME was hailing this set as a Triumph at the time... I've watched it through and it's pretty good. The final 30 minutes is a ride back to high school for me.
I'm expecting the last 30 minutes to be incredible, and the build-up to it to be somewhere south of Muse/The Killers but better than Chance.

So it seems like the main criticism is that his set hasn't changed in a long time. I've never seen him, so that doesn't really apply to me. I feel like all I need to worry about is the half of the setlist that doesn't draw from his first three albums, and that he won't be as energetic as when he was younger. That is the same worry I have about many "Legacy" shows.
Can't be worse than Billy Joel can it?
I do need to throw in a final disclaimer that I obviously would have rather had many others in the #1 spot.

It'll be fun dancing and rapping along to his older songs, just don't expect anything mind blowing from his performance (unless he really steps it up). But Eminem really isn't high on my priority list for Saturday. At best I'll see half his set if he changes it up. If not I'll just skip it all together.
