I say no way that get Schumer. Maybe Noah but even then, seems doubtful. There comedy lineup has suffered the past couple of years and I think they may even phase it out eventually.

Two of the top posts on reddit right now are about losing weight. Wtf has this festival turned into. The only proper way to lose weight is to sweat it out of your pores for 4 days straight in the Tennessee sun.
Trevor Noah and Schumer were the rumors a few weeks back.
I listened to the podcast that those rumors stemmed from, and it sounded less like they were speculating them specifically as the ones performing, and more like they were using them as a reference point for the size of acts that were booked. They said something to the tune of “they booked a couple ‘Schumer/Noah’ caliber-names to perform on the stages, and a few smaller ones as well”.

He’s alright. Not Amy Schumer but not exactly Dave Chapelle either. I think the best case rn would be John Mulaney or someone like Jon Stewart but we probably will get Trevor Noah.

Underwhelming is the word I'm looking for. That Reggie Watts musical set will probably be cool, though. And I'm bound to see one of those short Devine sets.

so a big complaint about comedy in the past was people didn't know how exactly the comedy tent worked, and they would miss the shows.
Seems like a good idea to just put the comedy all over the place now, including outside of centeroo. that will surely solve the problem.

Like I said in an earlier post, I truly think they wanna phase out the comedy. At least the are some comedians, unlike metal acts which are nonexistent this year.

I just don’t find Reggie watts funny or interesting at all. Him taking up a spot in a tent that could go to an actual lineup addition is a major bummer
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

A Dave Chappelle, or even a Pete Holmes would've been a big draw for me. This doesn't move the needle at all
I think the biggest problem with this lineup is like you said -it’s not likely to draw anyone in who might’ve been on the fence before. It’s not a bad lineup. But it isn’t at all special either.

Reggie Watts is great and this comedy lineup is actually pretty good.
Reggie Watts is the worst show I have seen on the farm. Not close. Saw him open for Conan a long ways back and he was pretty good at that.... but it was more music and less comedy.
Interested to see what Adam does between sets, that's actually a pretty good idea.

Well, the Reggie performance is supposedly a ‘music set’, so here’s hoping it’s better than his stand-up.

Roo had already come out on social media and said there weren’t going to be any major additions (outside of comedy + campground artists) barring someone dropping out of the lineup. So, this is better than nothing imo.
