Yeah but with only like two open spots for an addition wasting one of them on Reggie looping fart sounds he made with his mouth into a mic for 45 minutes instead of having an actual band is a bit disappointing
Roo had already come out on social media and said there weren’t going to be any major additions (outside of comedy + campground artists) barring someone dropping out of the lineup. So, this is better than nothing imo.
I don't remember seeing anything about no additions...

Someone on reddit asked them about that and the impression I got was that there wouldn't be any mid-level additions like usual, only maybe a couple really small bands. But I could be wrong.
Not sure if it's just my mood right now but Snakehips doesn't sound that bad. Like they seem kind of groovy. I think I would enjoy myself at their set before Virtual Self.

The bonnaroo reddit account said that we’d be getting the schedule ‘earlier than last year’ this go round. Last year, it was released early May. So perhaps we’ll get it in the next several weeks (though, technically, ‘earlier’ could just mean a couple days sooner).
Bonnaroo '15/'16/'17/'18/'19 - ACL '13/'14/'15/'17/'18 - Fun Fun Fun '14 - SXSW '13/'14/'15 - FPSF '16
2019 Shows: 4/30 - Vampire Weekend 6/28 - Father John Misty & Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit 9/6 - Cardi B w/ Teyana Taylor 9/28 - Vulfpeck w/ The Fearless Flyers

Snakehips are pretty good in my opinion. Been digging their stuff for awhile. The new stuff is okay, really like the first song.
Of course, ‘soon’ is vague. But a few weeks back, they posted that the late night lineup was coming soon before dropping it the next day. I’d say we’ll probably get at least one of these this week.

I’m thinking Superjam this week, Experiences next week, and full schedule the week after.

That would make enough sense. I’m just surprised they’re giving us the SJ so early. Isn’t it usually announced mid/late May? It’s always felt super last-minute.

It seems like they’ve really changed their whole game plan in regards to social media this year. They’re a lot more responsive, engage with the subreddit constantly, and the announcements feel more evenly spread out.

As a testament to this ...
I commented on their insta post saying “define ‘soon’” and they replied that it’s this and next week. I’d assume superjam one week, and all the schedule stuff the other.

Yeah they've really stepped it up in that department. Now if only WeAreBonnaroo would stop by inforoo and answer some of our questions...

Good shit. Definitely the SuperJam this week (possibly tomorrow) as they wouldn't release the schedule without the SuperJam.

I think that's how they always do it.
Edit: Schedule before superjam I mean. But I think we'll get the superjam this week because it seems way too early for a schedule.

Most notable thing I can figure out is Thundercat, Grand Ole Opry, Alison Wonderland, and Alt-J are stage closers. Future is pre-headlining for The Killers. Jungle is probably playing in the daylight

Looks like it could be CHIC > Anderson Paak > Eminem on the What with Bon Iver on the Which in between. Very nice if so.
I'm about it.
Cool to note, looks like they've got all the other experiences/shows (e.g., little cinema, comedy) listed as well. Looks like I'll be spending Thursday night @ Tonalism once the main acts finish up.

Looks like a really good schedule from what I'm seeing, but early Friday could be a mess since I'm trying to see Everything Everything, Japanese Breakfast and Tyler Childers.
