If I were going at least I'd get to see most things that I want to see. I think the only bad conflict would be Sylvan Esso vs. OCMS. Thur. is pretty weak and I'd be at What and Which way more than I would want.
updated my clashfinder. I think this'll be pretty close to the actual.
Top 15 bolded -
Thursday: Blank Range -> Ron Gallo -> Justin Jay -> Durand Jones -> Spafford -> Pigeons Playing Ping Pong
Friday: Everything Everything -> Japanese Breakfast -> Trombone Shorty -> Denzel Curry -> Revivalists -> Sturgill Simpson -> Rufus Du Sol -> Muse -> lil Bassnectar -> Chromeo -> Lil Virtual Self
Saturday: Saro -> Pond/Moses Sumney -> Mavis Staples -> Nile Rodgers & Chic -> Syvlan Esso -> Anderson Paak -> Bon Iver -> Lil Eminem -> Bon Iver -> Brockhampton -> lil Kaskade
Sunday: Alex Lahey -> Broken Social Scene -> Jungle/Gogo Penguin -> St Paul -> Daniel Caesar -> Future -> Alt J -> Killers
Truly love this schedule and since I always knew I was schedule dependent, I will likely make it back to Roo. Anyone thinking this compares at all with 2017 is out there damn mind. That Saturday could be my favorite day of Roo since Friday '15 or Saturday '14. The way it could have been better would be if they traded Moses Sumney or Pond with whatever ends up in That Tent, and moved Post Animal to open a tent early in the day.
Can anyone offer advice on my two conflicts?
Pond vs Moses Sumney - Have seen Pond and thought they were awesome at Shaky last year. Would love to hear from someone who's heard Moses live.
Jungle vs. GoGo Penguin - Have seen Jungle at Roo '15, and they will likely be more fun, but I have it stuck in my head that GP could be a perfect, epic set near the end of the fest.

I'm honestly not familiar with Moses Sumney or GoGo Penguin but my general advise is to see artists that you've never seen before.

If you're torn, I would advise to wait until the day of and see how hot it is. There's no point in seeing a band you like if it's 1000 degrees and you're too hot to enjoy it imo.
also, anyone and everyone here is invited to rage to Denzel Curry with my friends and me.

I’ve caught Moses several times, and he’s insane. His vocals are just as, if not more, incredible live, and the atmosphere he creates is something unique. That said, I’m a little worried with his set placement. I’ve seen him play a concert hall, a church (it was weird and dope at the same time), and an outdoor venue at night. Hard to imagine his show in the middle of the afternoon in the blazing sun. Also, I might catch Pond just bc I haven’t seen them.
But, all the doubts aside, my advice to someone whose never seen Moses is to go see Moses lol.

So many of these acts could've been Thursday (Moses Sumney, Gogo Penguin, Post Animal, etc) but that's really the only issue with the scheduling. I guess I'll be raging in a barn.

If Pond is actually on The What Stage, I will be comfortably shaded in the pit regardless.

This is a big misstep over the last 2 years.
2017 Acts that would have made Thursday good: KLANGSTOF!!! (fucking daytime Which with 46 ppl in attendance), Khraungbin, Lucy Dacus, Twin Limb
2018: Pond, Moses Sumney, Post Animal, GoGo, Everything Everything, Knox Fortune, Alex Lahey
Not saying all of them, but a couple. Klangstof and Pond or Moses in particular would have acted as Thursday headliners similar to Jungle / Courtney Barnett / Ty Segall / Pusha T / Alt J / Killer Mike in years past.

Echoing the complaints here, my main gripe with the schedule is that Thursday is really weak. Otherwise, very minimal conflicts. Thurs: Ron Gallo > Justin Jay's Fantastic Voyage Fri: Japanese Breakfast > Trombone Shorty > Denzel Curry > Tash Sultana > T-Pain > Strugill Simpson > RUFUS DU SOL > Muse > Superjam > Virtual Self Sat: Moses Sumney > Kali Uchis > Nile Rodgers & Chic > Sylvan Esso > Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals > Bon Iver > Bon Iver > BROCKHAMPTON Sun: Broken Social Scene > GoGo Penguin > Daniel Caesar > Future > The Killers
We're forgetting that Adam Devine will be opening up for Mavis Staples!
Really, I'm actually starting to get FOMO because I could have a really fun time at this, even with only half caring about Muse/Killers and not caring at all about Eminem.
Thur: Ron Gallo > Justin Jay > Clozee > Durand Jones > Topaz Jones > Opiou Fri: Everything Everything > Japanese Breakfast > Tyler Childers > Denzel Curry > Sturgill Simpson pit > Rufus > Muse > Bassnectar > Virtual Self (maybe Superjam) Sat: Saro > Pond > Billie Eilish > Mavis Staples > Chic > Anderson .Paak pit > Bon Iver 1 > Bon Iver 2 pit > Brockhampton > Kaskade Sun: Alex Lahey > BSS pit > Jungle pit > Dua Lipa > Daniel Caesar > Grand Ole Opry > Alison Wonderland > Killers

Absolutely see Pond, you won't regret it. They played a 45 minute set at Shaky Knees and it was the best show I saw all weekend (and there were a lot of good shows). I know a lot of people agree with that as well.
Sat: Pond/Moses (fuck that) > Reggie Watts? > Mavis > CHIC > Sylvan Esso > Paak > Bon Iver > Bon Iver > best boy band since one direction (this would be a great day)
Sun: Alex Lahey > Rich Brian > BSS/Amadou (another tough one for me) > Jungle > St. Paul > Daniel Caesar > Opry > Thundercat (great time slot) > Killers
That Pond/Moses conflict is a bummer. Putting Pond on the What is probably a mistake, but if you're looking for a great energetic psychedelic start to the day, they'll still deliver.
If you wanna chill and watch in awe of someone, go with Moses. Maybe the tent will be on the emptier side and you can just sit on the ground and take it in
fwiw, for my own self-fulfillment, I updated my google doc mock with the leaked set times as well. It's pretty much exactly the same as the clashfinder save for a couple little details. still have to go through and really think about what I'd choose to see lol.

I like Tom Petty plenty, and hearing Sheryl Crow do the Stevie Nicks part of "Stop Dragging My Heart Around" would be great but this otherwise sounds like one of the most underwhelming Superjam ideas they've had yet.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

More underwhelming than "Throwback Superjam" or "A Tribute to Tennessee Superjam"? At least Tom Petty is a consistent theme. He also played Bonnaroo twice so it does make sense to pay tribute.
