Push was amazing at Life is Beautiful last year, and Daytona has been on constant repeat for me. Combine all that with a late night slot and that'll be one of the highlights of the weekend.
Think there is a chance we just don't get a replacement for BH?
i think you'll get a replacement. i can't recall a time bonnaroo hasn't subbed somebody in when a set got cancelled? they are probably still looking, or just ironing out details.
gov ball acted fast with the pusha t replacement, but they had to act fast since gov ball is (*googles gov ball dates*), well, now i guess.
Do we know which Bon Iver set is which? Did I miss an announcement? I thought they said that was coming soon monthes ago.
No. All we know is one is ‘normal’ and one is a ‘surprise’. You could assume based on set lengths that the second set is the latter - the fact that it’s a late-night set adds to that likelihood.

The Bonnaroo reddit account did say that the first set is not a 22, A Million set like a lot of people were expecting.
I thought they said it was a normal "Bon Iver concert" which would include a lot of 22, A Million.
This post from 6 days ago is what I was referring to. I was slightly wrong, they didn't specifically say the first set won't be 22, A Million, just that what the user said as a whole was incorrect.

Yeah no a lot of what that guy asked about could be (& is probably) wrong. An actual 22AM in full set - which Bon Iver have done at some of the tour dates where they’ve performed 2 sets instead of having an opener - would be *maybe* 45 minutes. But a normal 22AM tour set would easily be an hour and, like Todd said, just be 22AM heavy with other songs sprinkled in. When Justin Vernon said that one set would be a 22AM set, that’s how I initially interpreted it. And it also lines up with what Ashley Capps said (I.e., that one set would be normal, whereas the other would be a surprise). Justin Vernon had likewise differentiated the non-22 AM set as ‘full of surprises’.
Also, I’m not too sure why some people have clung to the idea of one set being stripped down when he’s playing the Which for both sets.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
