Trombone Shorty will forever be taken for granted on paper, but never in person. My god he is going in.
Nice. I keep getting hit on how good the show is. Apparently they have evolved a bit live over the last few albums. We used to catch them all the time, but they are always on tour now so it’s limited.
First dude on the stream - Bayonne - is fairly good. He’s got a Pierre Moerlen vibe to the beat, maybe a little Roy Ayers thrown in but more Gong/space than soul. Keys, live looping and looping vocals and the drummer now out is decent too.
Middle kid's phone is dead, so no Thursday report yet from him.
Kid 1 - Spafford, Cage and PPPP were all good. CloZee was dope too. Opiuo best set of the night. RlumR was cool too, very similar to Miguel. Also, Space Jesus.
Kid 3 - Space Jesus was fire. Spafford sounded really good. Valentino was diet chek. CloZee was good. Solid night overall besides Valentino Khan sucking.
/living vicariously this weekend.
Twitter has this:
Bayonne - 5:00pm A R I Z O N A - 5:30pm Sheryl Crow - 6:00 Manchester Orchestra - 7:00pm Paramore - 8:00pm The Revivalists - 8:30pm Khalid - 9:30pm Muse: 10:30pm
That's probably all CDT since the stream is supposed to start at 5 here. Not the most exciting night of sets, but I'll see some of them.
Just a single channel then I guess? At least headliner made it on.

Comfortable now saying that Roo is pretty packed. Manchester had a good which crowd and That Tent is one of the largest crowds Ive seen in a while for Denzel Curry.
Yeah. It’s unfortunate, but I’ll watch at least some of Manchester Orchestra, Muse and a bit of Revivalists and Sheryl Crow. Red Bull is back with Lollapalooza next month. Also Livelist shows Lettuce and Floozies on nugs.tv tonight from Red Rocks but it doesn’t have a $ on it. Either that’s an error or it will be free. They have been showing almost all the Dead and Company shows free the last few weeks, so maybe it will be or maybe not. They play tonight too if I get bored with what they are showing at Bonnaroo and if it’s still free.
Nice gesture by Sheryl borrowing the graphical sign of Petty’s face and singing the end of Every Day is a Winding Road and giving him a kiss. They’ll be keeping that totem for a while.
But f Sheryl for teasing the “I just met someone unannounced who will be on stage later” but only would leak for a drink or smoke but nobody put up but one person who offered water. Pussies
I've done it from chrome browser on computer a while back but didnt work that great. I learned from doing some a bit of internet research you can go inside the Google Home app and screen mirror so got that working for me now. Ive gotten spoiled/used to most things working natively though so never had to go to the trouble to do this before.
They headlined Lolla last year and I never really listened to them because I knew I'd be seeing either Lorde or Porter Robinson, but this show seems like it'd be a real fun time. May have to listen to them at some point
Yeah. I caught that tour here. I saw em at ACL 13 before that. They are what they are and maybe sometimes you want a bit more soul behind some of the technical shit, but they do rock like a mfer
Edit to say that certainly lived up to the billing. My baby girl hit me up with a 12/10. /proudness I guess they’ll hit The Bassnectar show(s?) and Superjam. Haha. Probably should have gone. <-- Damn. I typed that before the encore. Bravo bringing that harder rock to Bonnaroo.
Ok so I don't know if it's just cause I'm a big fan, but holy FUCK Muse was good. Their audio and visual quality seriously can't be beat. I love when headliners do their job and show you why they're the ones headlining and not anyone else that day.
3:45 - Moses Sumney 4:45 - LANY 5:45 - Mavis Staples 6:45 - Nile Rodgers and Chic 7:45 - Old Crow Medicine Show 8:45 - Anderson.Paak & The Free Nationals
Trombone Shorty KILLED it! Easily one of the top 5 shows I've seen at Roo all time. When they covered Bulls on Parade, I went nuts!
Japanese Breakfast: I know some love this band, but outside the Dreams cover (Cranberries), I just couldn't get in to them.
Westside Gunn & Conway: Pretty solid stuff. They had a good flow but man was their set underattended. They gave away an Artist bracelet to one lucky fan.
Muse: good stuff! I think it surprised many who didn't know them very well. They had a full energy show that kept it going until then end.
Bassnectar: his set was good but not great. Might have been because I've been sick and was just tired. Visuals popped as usual. The damn ground had bass.
I had to miss the Superjam. I was just too everything at that point.

Can confirm that it wasn't just because you were a big fan.
