Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I seem to be missing your sarcasm of late so it's possible that you are kidding but in case you're not, Twitter is way more high profile then Red Bull TV. When Gov Ball was streaming I sometimes literally had trouble looking at anything else on Twitter.
More High Profile? You can barely find it. If Bonnaroo promotes it, it shouldn’t matter what link you click. Red Bull did an awesome job! Oh and by the way, “it’s not available in my region” what the fuck. So lame
I agree that they've done an awful job with it. Gov Ball was inescapable on Twitter. This has been a non-event.
I'm sure Red Bull did a great job. My take was that Twitter would get a lot of eyes on it that weren't searching for it but this is clearly not the case.
So I was just looking at what is playing against this LANY crap right now. And then I wanted to compare it to peak roo.
LANY/Midland/Jesse Reyez/Boogie B2B Squinto (I know none of them)
2014 same time
Arctic Monkeys/Fitz & the Tantrums/Warpaint/The Lone Bellow/A$AP Ferg
If anyone ever asks again how Bonnaroo changed? Show them this.
It was a good time to go back to the tent
I remember feeling that way in 2014, about the Phosphorescent/Chromeo/Slightly Stoopid/John Butler Trio group that followed, before the Lionel/Cut Copy/Zedd/James Blake/Ms Lauryn Hill clusterfuck of amazing.

While Em is playing some bullshit...
Pond was dope of course. Chic was a fucking awesome dance party. Paak was one of the better hiphop shows I've seen. Bon Iver amazing. First time seeing them.
Not sure how I feel abiut the rumor of a superjam bi set. Its definitely interesting, but Was kinda hoping to see every damn bon iver song ever by the end of tonight.
had to write this way later than intended because Til I collapse dropped. So fun.
Just saw on Reddit there’s a secret set being setup at That Tent. Word is it’s Portugal. The Man.
Got some people headed over there though I couldn’t find the rumor on reddit. Clearly just as in 2015, the best crowd and probably show of the weekend will be STS9. Haha. Haters can hate, but that’s going to be about as good as Bonnaroo late night is going to get. Regardless. I’ll let you know if it’s legit.
Edit report is Eminem is ending but nothing is going on at That.
I like that they seem to be doing more special/secret sets this year. That's definitely a step in the right direction.
Agreed 100%. Honestly, it seems like Bonnaroo is really trying to step up their game this year, so depending on the lineup I might actually go next year!

Yea please keep me updated. And you best believe I’d be at STS9! Their show in 2015 (and 2011) both left my mind melted.

You will all be excited to hear what Bon Iver did with the second set, but Im so, so dissapointed. They were scheduled for 2.5 hours and I ended up with maybe 12 Bon Iver songs. I’ll go out on an island here to say that I’d rather hear For Emma or Skinny Love than worse songs by other people or the most obscure Justin Vernon tracks. I understand that people who have seen him 5 or more times would have viewed tonight as a best case scenario, but thousands of people that had never seen him before left heartbroken and understandably salty. If Brockhampton was still on the schedule I would have left immediately.
I’m hearing other people say it was an immaculate show, and it was in a sense. I got to hear Justin and Sylvan Esso sing Flume and that was perfect. I heard them cover coffee by sylvan as well... and other pretty good songs by artists that don’t make songs as good as the songs in Bon Ivers catalougue. Call me crazy but I would have preferred a 1.5 hour Bon Iver set that contained more from the albums + Blood Bank.

Is Broken Social Scene the clear option for the BSS / Jungle / GoGo Penguin conflict?
I have an urge to see either Jungle or Gogo Penguin depending on my mood, but I worry it'd be a mistake. I thought I'd have this resolved by now.
I want to reiterate how fucking packed some of these shows are. Centeroo is a massive sea of people like I haven't seen since 14. It could be recency bias, but It feels more busy than 14.
Luckily, some of the better artists are still fairly empty. No issue getting an amazing spot for Bon Iver at either set. Second set had an extremely thin crowd. I have to imagine is was one of the least attended ln which shows ever. Rufus ended up having a large crowd, but showing up a little early made it easy to get a great spot.
BSS is probably the way to go. Maybe start there and then check out one of the others if you're not feeling it?
Unrelated note: I have not been able to find any coverage of Bon Iver's sets from last night, specially the second one. It seems odd since it sounds like it was pretty noteworthy.
