It was underwhelming to me. Too much show, not enough music. Skits got old quick, too many breaks in the music, only playing tiny snippets of some songs. I like Beyonce but I wanted less show. I thought Gaga had a better balance. But I know a lot of people enjoy the showmanship aspect of Beyonce shows.

Yall talking smack are nuts. They reunited Destiny's Child and the only song I was sorta sad they left out was Halo. That shit was a spectacle and a half.
Going through some personal stuff and don't feel like I'm in the right mental state to go out this year so officially closing the door on making it to the polo fields. Someone rub the grass extra hard for me and hope I'm back out next year
It's not even that they weren't full songs, it's just a lot of songs were legit seconds long, a lot of the songs she never sang, the band just included a bit of it in whatever medley they were playing while they danced. Like I said, I know a lot of people like the showmanship but I'd rather just get to the music. Visually it was great, yeah, it felt like I was watching a movie and not a concert. But after awhile I was just like "Ok, let's really dig into this music already"

Exactly. At no point was I immersed in the show, swept away by the music, or awe struck by the spectacle. It felt like I had flipped on the Main Stage screens to Beyoncé TV. I don’t think it was bad; obviously the number of people blown away by that set far outnumber people like me, I just think it wasn’t intimate at all.
I left about 30 mins in, and since they gave us amost no counter programming I left the grounds. There were tons of people streaming out of the fest early disappointed in her set.
Cheapest weekend 2 camping passes on stubhub now at $224. For reference, wk 1 camping passes are going for $67, and 3-day GA wk 1 passes are $375. Didn’t expect that much of a jump
Camping is by far the easiest way to see Sunday Service logistically, and the only way to get last-second accommodations that aren't ridiculously priced or inconvenient or both if you weren't planning on going before. I'd guess that it's really hurt their ability to sell many tickets in this window.
Related: I've been both weekends and not noticed a difference at all, but W2 camping selling out super quick and W1 camping still being on sale is the first time I've ever thought there might be a substantial difference between the crowds. W2 camping has been sold out for months, despite passes being super undersold. I'm guessing the sets I've been at in my Coachellas have similar crowds both weekends, so I'd always kind of discounted that observation, but I'm honestly coming around to it a little bit.

Goes to Coachella looking for an intimate Beyonce performance, interesting...
Maybe shoulda held on to that car camping pass I sold for below face value ....
Question, isn't your car camping pass linked to your wristband? Like you can't sell the car camping pass separately? Just asking because I'd be interested in getting car camping last minute.

I'm not sure if that's even the case anymore but never was really enforced as far as I know.

I don’t believe so; they’re listed separately on your order after you buy them and you don’t link it to your wristband when you activate the latter.

Last year was the first year they didn’t require the camping passes/wristbands to be linked. It was also the first year stubhub allowed you to sell individual camping passes.

You didn't really need them linked before, it was just some bullshit to discourage scalping. I bought a camping pass separately off eBay a few years ago and had zero issues getting scanned into the campground. It's nice that they actually let you buy them off StubHub now instead of sketchy eBay/Craigslist.
Yeah you’re right, I guess I just meant that last year was the first time they removed the “wristbands and camping passes must be linked” bs off the website

I assume they stopped doing it because the expanded campgrounds actually have enough room for everyone who wants to camp.
