It’s impressive that this festival became the icon that is merely by location alone. While other festivals might fail in SoCal, this one sales out two weekends now simply because it ALWAYS has.

I really don’t get why people love to hate on this fest in here. If the Coachella lineup or headliners are “down” or “not good” then it pretty much always means bad stuff for the rest of the festival season. We should be rooting for very strong Coachella’s and the rest of the festival season to ride that wave. And this is coming from someone who has never been to Coachella

It’s not people though. It’s just like one person. The majority are definitely rooting for a good year.

Agreed. I typically stay out of threads for festivals I'm not interested in.
I was just really curious to see why Florence and the Machine is considered a "boring artist." I was thrilled to see her climb the ranks by pouring her heart and soul into her performances. She is a hell of a role model for da kids and certainly helps represent a strong female headliner.
Edit: I haven't been to Coachella but would go if I had a group of friends who were more willing to go. It certainly is a bucket list item to hit it up at least once.

Maybe that should be the rule and you can start by cleaning up all the shit talking in the Bonnaroo headliner thread?
I have nothing against Florence, she's fine, but I would have less of a problem with her headlining if I was into one of the other headliners. I don't even need to be wowed at this point. I just want someone I know I'll enjoy.

Just sayin, if you want to impose new rules to protect the fragile egos of Coachella-Stans maybe at least be consistent and apply similar rules to all fests then?
