Heard them rehearsing a "Power" bit on the way in. Setup looks like the performance is on the mountain, with everyone looking up from the lot below. A ton of space. Metal detectors are already set up for tomorrow

Today was my best day at a festival ever and easily makes this my best year of Coachella (and I haven’t even seen Gesafelstein yet) Four Tet (best DJ set I’ve ever seen mind you) > Aphex > Tame > Kanye legit sounds too good to be true
Also I still don’t care for her music but I understand the hype behind Billie Eilish. What little I caught ofnher show was great and the crowd loved it
Four Tet at the DoLab dropping Destiny’s Child, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, and the Cinderella soundtrack...the legend jumped out
That Destiny's Child edit he's been playing is so good.
Do Lab W2 really crushed W1. Curious to see if tonight y'all get anything that's not on the lineup, they haven't gone off lineup yet. Makes me think they had the budget cut.

Yeah I guess that's technically off lineup, but we know which piece of Major Lazer is the expensive one lol. Hoping Four Tet's Do Lab set gets posted, think there's a pretty good chance. He's pretty pro-posting sets

Tale of Us closing the dolab was an amazing way to end the festival! Really enjoyed Charlotte Gainsbourg and Little Sims which were my last full sets of the day Friday and Saturday. Second Coachella in the books and hoping to make it cross country again next year.
Favorite sets in no particular order: Rosalía, Four Tet, Kids See Ghosts, Tame Impala, Gesaffelstein, UMO, Blood Orange, Anderson .Paak HM: Aphex, Gambino, Billie Eilish (really surpasses expectations) I’ll say it again, this was my favorite Coachella and will be my last at least for a little. Special shoutout to lastnameicecream for taking me into his camp this weekend. I had the time of my life

I think the implication for me is that they want to play this thing at some point, and will lobby to play. Not cause of a money thing but more of a status thing
I honestly think they should have gone for Ari after all this other HL turmoil seems to have happened. I'm not even a huge fan, but she's coming off a huge year commercially and critically. She's legit talented. I think it would be a good trial for HLs that people don't really think of as festival acts and gets them a female HL.

All these positive reviews of the so-called "best festival of USA" and not a single one mentioned that Weezer subbing ruined the weekend. Bunch of GV plants.
Polo & Pan just announced a North American tour. The CA dates aren’t until the tail end of the tour in November, but I think it’s funny how they said they enjoyed their turnout in the “sunset golden hour” of Coachella when their set was in complete darkness lol.
