i'll admit that maybe i've slipped away from what current touring bands are decent. but having said that.
i recognize a lot of the acts on the lineup. many of them are pretty good. but in the end it's just a lot of pretty good acts. a lot of pretty good acts is better than only a few pretty good acts, but you can't average out a bunch of pretty good acts to make a festival lineup better than pretty good. it's still just a pretty good lineup.

Looking back at the lineup and I'm super worried about Anderson .Paak & Arctic Monkeys clashing. Bound to happen right? Unless Blondie closes out the Green.

So where's a good location to stay in Montreal? Never been to the city.

Just make sure you stay in the downtown area. The closer to you are to the Berri Uqam station the better. From there it is only one subway stop to the festival.
The airbnb I got last time was pretty dope. Unsure where I am staying, but I do have a room booked at the hotel below with no prepayment and free cancellation:
I have a room booked at the same hotel I've stayed at each year I've went. It's pretty cool - pool on the top floor, with a rooftop balcony just next to the pool. Great location to bars, food, subway to the festival. Called L'Apartment Hotel!

I always do airbnb. Some people have had problems with hosts cancelling on them (presumably because they didn't know it was Osheaga, and they want to relist their apartment at a higher price), so if you go that route, just make sure you let them know that you'll be there for the festival and you shouldn't have an issue.
Any indication whether Modeselektor is live or dj? Every other festival date of theirs this summer is a dj set, so assuming this isn't the one exception.
