Seventh (!) year announces on January 25th. Royal Blood has a show at the Pittsburgh Promowest venue the night before this starts up so they seem like a lock. The inevitable crossover GovBall acts: could this fest swing Eminem? I wouldn't love it, but it seems like he's going at a budget rate right now in the name of saturation, and Bonnaroo's other two headliners have topped the Bunbury bill the last two years. Travis Scott or Jack White seem more likely, the former especially, given the turn the fest took last year.
Doubt it. He plays Paris on the 2nd. Looks much more likely that it's Black Pistol Fire. The first song on their new record Deadbeat Graffiti is titled "Lost Cause".
Jack White - 21p - Lil Wayne - Fleet Foxes(maybe drop them down and insert EDM act)
Any reason you think Lil Wayne? I’m just curious idk what his touring plans are. Also 21P still have no new material or tours so I think they’re pretty doubtful

I just feel like they've gone to a formula that includes at least one meh rapper up top. I'm not sure what Weezy's booking fees are now-a-days but if they have gone down then I could see him being the big rap act. Considering Wiz was last year, the act obviously doesn't have to currently relevant. Also, I just can't accept that Bunbury is willing to headline a current mumble rapper. Outside of the current mumblers, chart-topping rappers have some serious booking fees (Kendrick, Kanye, Jay, Em, etc) so it's tough to predict a top line rapper.
21p doesn't have any new material but they're just a safe pick for a prediction. You could replace them with Walk The Moon. Overall, Bunbury is hard to predict because they could go in any direction to help push tickets (Pretty Lights & Bassnectar uptop last year really throws a wrench into what this year could be like). PL and BN actually fit the fest really well but there aren't many EDM acts who fit.

I could see it. Walk the Moon is damn near a guarantee to be on the lineup imo. Bunbury is unpredictable with their billing so I'm scratching my head trying to think who else will be there
Decemberists look likely for either this or Nelsonville based on their tour routing
Nelsonville got the Decemberists, along with Ani DiFranco, Alvvays, Kevin Morby, Antibalas, Sunflower Bean, among others. Their initial lineup is probably dropping tomorrow, but those are the biggest names so far.
Bunbury has turned into a decent little local fest. Look forward to it every year. Can't wait to see the lineup. Would definitely be cool if the headliners were Jack white, Travis scott and Arctic monkeys.

Not that this is an expensive festival to begin with, but volunteering for it is super easy. You just have to work two 4-hour shifts, and you get to select your duty and timeslot. You just have to be on top of your email so you can pick your slots before they get taken. I went 4 years in a row for free, just had to check IDs from 10am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. You get a t-shirt and can enter the festival through the volunteer entrance which has no security.
